Last week I shared what I’m doing by switching out my old albums for some new ones and someone said, “Man, I’d love to have that label template.”

Ask and you shall receive.

For those of you who use We R Memory Keepers classic leather albums, this label is for you. Note: I use the 8.5 x 11 size and am not sure if this will work with their 12 x 12 size, but it’s worth a shot.

The file is for use with Photoshop or Photoshop Elements and is fully customizable. It uses one of my favorite free fonts, Open Sans. I used the Avenir font for my binder labels, but Open Sans has a very similar feel.

Directions for trimming using crop marks  are included in the package PDF.

Enjoy!

Big fan of the We R Memory Keepers albums and I thank you for the binder label. It will come in quite handy.

    CZ, you ROCK!

thanks for the share. i am so sad that these albums have been discontinued. 🙁 i hope that American Crafts brings them back under their own branding.

I didn’t know this! Discontinued? But they’re so basic. You would think I would know this, right, working in this biz. Sigh. I just pulled the trigger and ordered six of them from Amazon.

i know! i am still suffering WTF?!?! over this. WRMK is the gold standard in basic, reliable, affordable albums — what are they thinking?

i manage a scrapbooking store, and we noticed a problem when we tried to special order in twenty 8.5″x11″ black 3-ring binders for a customer. out of stock…out of stock…out of stock…we called our sales rep and were told the line had been discontinued.

our primary supplier now only has 9 colors in stock, a huge reduction from the 25+ colors that were available only weeks ago. 🙁

cross your fingers that the albums will come back, branded differently….

I just did a quick (PANIC!) search online, and I am not finding anything that says that these have been discontinued. Would you mind posting a link to the news?

I hope they aren’t switching over to American Crafts albums rather than We R Memory Keepers. The quality of the AC albums is…well, crappy when compared to WRMK.

Mara….the WRMK albums have been discontinued? I have been wondering because I have had a hard time finding the black ones online.

Thanks Cathy – I’m also in panic mode now that I’ve read through the comments. Discontinued? Really?! Ugh!

I think part of the “are they discontinued?” issue was when Target quit carrying them and they were on clearance there. I remember reading somewhere also that there were distribution problems due to the dock workers strike in CA back this past spring. Now that American Crafts has acquired We R MK, I think there’s speculation that they will phase them out and bring them back with new branding. They are so popular that I would guess they were one reason why American Crafts wanted to buy We R MK in the first place…I view their albums as the bread and butter of the company!

I have been looking for 8.5×11 for at least 2 months and can not find that size or the 6×12 size.

Put a Notify Me on the Amazon link I have in the post above. I think they’ll be getting more in!

Scrapbooking Warehouse has a pretty good selection of albums available. I was able to get both the pink and red but no brown. There is black!
