Coleman

Colandgramps

While watching a show on Animal Planet called Animal Miracles, he was telling me the story about a police officer's who's dog died in the line of duty, saving the officer's life, when he added, emphatically: "It's just so touching."

Don’t you love it? After 9-11 my son looked at the paper on the morning of 9-12 and said this is a very sad day”. He was 5. You just want to squeeze their pointy little heads, they’re so insightful.

Kids say the funniest things- mine told me last night “Mommy, you have a lot of little bumps on your face.” thanks for the reminder… The story about me having a big butt is even funnier!

Oh! THAT is so touching. My son loves animals and yet wants to kill all squirrels (he loves birds) with a BB gun. Never, in my wildest dreams did I imagine I’d live somewhere where kids have bb guns. Wecome to the rural south. Appreciate his northern, urban sensibilities.

Isn’t that funny? Not funny like a clown but funny in an ironic, observant kind of way.

Could you stand to answer one more question? Or, more like, a request. I love how you did your recipe book template, as seen in the Chililicious recipe pdf you posted. I have searched the internet high and low to find a booklet template (5.5 x 8.5) and, alas, it is not to be. Would you be willing to share your template as a Word document? Pretty please? Of course, I understand if you don’t. Just thought I’d ask. No harm in that, right?

Isn’t it the greatest when they say these type of things!! I love it when my 5 year old daughter shows empathy like this…makes me feel like I’m raising a sensitive child…before the world has a chance to desensitize her that is! πŸ™‚

awesome, especially coming from a boy. We mothers of sons always worry about that sort of thing.

So perfectly Cole! Must be creepy when strangers think they know your kids? I think I have flipped through both of your books so many times I feel like I know you all. Not in the stalker way, more like a little too adoring fan. Don’t laugh, but I kinda worked your name into a recent post, and I would be flattered beyond reasonable belief if you might consider stopping by my page? Like my predecessors, no harm in asking, right? And if there is, let me know and I can bake you a pan of brownies or something to go with all of your wine.

I so love this little boys’ outlook on life. He is far older than his years it is so comical.
It must have you in bits laughing at times!!
