Seriously. I love this. Just stating the obvious facts before telling the story, so everyone KNOWS why you're clearly qualified to relay the forthcoming information.

So don't be surprised to see a good MANY blog posts that will now start like this:

I have a PERSONAL connection to this story because I am an EXCELLENT scrapbooker!

And to prove just HOW good I am, the March 10 tagger, where just a sweet tinge of the inevitable mid-section self-loathing makes it's tag book debut. YES! Go my stomach!

Cathy – a question on your cute taggers….are you adhering the pattern paper to the back of your tags or printing the tags on the back of the pattern paper….if adhering – what are you using as adhesive???
Sorry, I struggle with the whole adhesive, sticking well, corners not rolling schtuff.

HA!!! The chicken pot pie that I white balanced! HILARIOUS!!!

It still looks delicious. Did I ever mention that after working on that photo, I decided to make a pot pie of my own? It wasn’t low cal by any means. And it was AWESOME.

Going throught the “everyone is here” album. Not loving it as much as a Neil solo project. Is it just me??

How have I gone so long without reading your blog? You totally rock! The last few posts I read have cracked me up. I love your attitude and your style. And the things your wrote on your tag? I often think the same way. Thanks for sharing!

I’m so sorry Coleman has such low self-esteem (extreme sarcasm there). I swear, every new Coleman story is my new favorite. Great kid!

Your son would fit in great with our family as we are HUGE Indianapolis Colts Fans (being from Indiana orignianlly and all)! Very cute illustrations with Marvin Harrison too! I figured he’d be a Minnesota Vikings fan!? can’t wait to see more drawings!

Still not quite working, I should use Cole’s opening statement on my resume cover letters. Maybe that type of confidence would peek curiosity! Looking forward to your next random blathering!

Just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY Month again. Great Colman story. Almost makes me want to have kids. They certainly do know how to come right to the point and have great self-esteem.

My first comment here…just wanted to send a note and tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your blog, you’re a very funny lady and I laugh almost every time I read your words! Loved Cole’s opening line, will have to remember that one. Happy Birthday month to you…it’s mine too, will be 60 on the 21st. Egads…how did that happen? Cheers and thanks for sharing your life and your wonderful sense of humor with us…..Elena

I’m sorry Cathy, I really hate to say this but I think that Cole may turn out to be more talented than you. πŸ™‚ His art is amazing already, I reckon he’s going to be famous and make enough money to keep you all in the manner you would like to become accustomed to. Loving the tags, but you better watch out, that boy is catching you up.

you’re right; that boy can tell a tale.

The tag stories are so interesting. I visited paper source (dc) yesterday for the first time and had a peek at them and they are larger than I thought. Love them. Love your blog.
