I present to you Coleman’s Official (and illustrated) Christmas List for the 2008 Holiday Buying Season.
I think the list looks reasonable. But since when did Apple start making Nano-Insect hybrids?
In other news, there’s still time to sign up for my class at CKC St. Paul! Come on down, Minnesotans! (And WIsconsinites. And Iowans. And Dakotans.) You get a nice goodie bag. And me, for an hour. WHAT COULD BE BETTER?
And now, I must get the children up. Coleman has an appointment with some laughing gas and three teeth that apparently must come out. God help us.
Love,
Cathy

that list is darling!

Cathy, my almost 9-year-old girl is having two teeth pulled next week. Pray for us, and I’ll pray for you, sister!

Would love to join your class and help myself to a goodie bag, but alas the cost of flights from Australia might make this a little expensive! LOL
3 teeth out – ouch! Hoping all goes as smoothly as it can and he recovers quickly (and with minimal whining!).

Love the DS – but no list of games? We always seem to get ones that were out years ago and therefore require hunting down in obscure second hand shops on the list.
Poor Cole on the teeth – perhaps ice cream for dinner?

Lily (my 8 year old) just had 4 baby teeth out last month. : Good luck! The pulling was more traumatic than after … she was back to her normal self the very same day. Of course I spoiled her for days following though. Mama guilt!

if you want spore and you’d like a good deal on spore, let me know. my husband works for EA. π

He wants the Metrodome for Christmas? I’ll bet the Vikings would give you a deal on it!!!

so, henry says he wants cole to blog. henry says, i quote, “i’d totally read that.” granted he’s almost nine and nuts. but still … cole would have loyal readership. then henry asked, “does he have email? i could email and ask him his favorite ds game, then we could set up pokemon gts and trade cards online …” at that point my interest in the conversation wandered. (oh, and baby teeth? come out like buttah. we did four over the summer … relatively painless. hope it is for cole, too.)
Judi Dose says
Poor dude – I think it calls for ice cream!!
See you at CKC Friday morning class
Sue says
OK – I know it’s repetition week – that’s why you posted the same blog entry twice. I get it . . . !! I love the drawings (oh, to have a little guy to buy for – so much easier than a 19 yr old.)

I think Jackson would settle for a Nano but I think he is getting a Mac Mini (if the rumors aren’t true). Inheritance money makes Chrismas so much easier!
Sarah says
Oh yeah, the Christmas lists. The instigators for my children’s lists showed up yesterday in the mail. The ToysRUs catalog and the American Girl drool book. The lists and drawing were endless. In fact, the first thing out of my 7 y.o. daughter this am was, “Mom, can you get me a doll and Santa get me another one?”
ah, tis the season.

Great drawing… do you want my illustrated list, too? π

Oh, 9yo my boy loves all things electronic, too. Has the Nano (we are an all things Apple household – I have the iPod touch like you!) but wants the rest! Love this time of year because I reply to every request with “Add it to your Christmas list!” Your BPS class was my early Christmas gift to myself and I’m LOVIN’ it! Had to buy your 2 books, too. (I’m not so good at delayed gratification–maybe I’ll ask Santa for more willpower!)
Suzette says
oops, typing too fast–my 9yo boy

oh, poor cole….
i wish you came down to south florida for our ckc. i so love going to them. but poor us. we won’t have anymore ckc due to lack of people turnout. i have gone each year and taken many classes at each. it just stinks that the people that do go suffer.
i’d take your class in a heartbeat!!!

Hi Cathy—My Laura had 4 teeth pulled this morning!! Not a fun time for the poor baby!! Hope Cole is doing well–Laura is chilling out in PJ’s watching TV and eating pudding!!
Anna Willett says
i love the list. it is like he doesn’t trust you with just words and figures that you can look at the picture and match it with the correct item in the store. and i wish i could come to the ckc, but it totally sounds like you are selling yourself – “and me for an hour”. lol
btw i <3 laughing gas. i don't even really know what my dentist looks like.

I love the list. Good luck with that!

A few years ago, our oldest (who was then 8 and now 16) had to have two teeth pulled in preparation for braces. Guess what?! The dentist pulled the WRONG two teeth. They were at least baby teeth and this was a beloved dentist that we had gone to for years. I don’t think I’ve ever seen any professional so honestly sorry for a mistake. He would have given Matthew the moon if he’d asked for it, but he wound up giving him an entire set of really cool metal military jets (hey, he was 8). Now, the adult teeth have grown in an the braces have come and gone and his teeth are $5,000 worth of beautiful!
Kia Gregory says
You got a family full of characters there. Will you keep the list in a special place after the Holidays? How does saving funny tidbits like that work?
Melanie says
Seriously, get the boy SPORE! It’s only the coolest game since… well since SIM city only WAAAAY better! My husband wants it, and maybe if he’s a very good boy, he’ll actually get it because believe it or not this non-computer game player wants to play too. Oh, but check the system requirements… apparently they’re pretty high.
