Seasonal recap

Fall5

With a mere 24 degrees out this fine Monday morning, it appears that fall is moving on and out. Last week, this was the view, looking straight up, from my front yard at sunset. Sadly, it doesn’t last. Fall’s only fault, really.

Did I post Cole and Dan at Halloween? (That’s really a rhetorical question. I actually know the answer; I just didn’t know how to transition into the next paragraph.)

Thank you, Adobe InDesign. For letting me make the best halloween costume accessory ever.

And of course, don’t forget about bee, er, I mean, me.

Sobusy

20 plus years in the same costume. Lookin’ GOOD sister. Lookin’ good.

Farewell, sweet Fall. We barely knew ye…

    You ARE frugal!

Love the wire spaghetti. Looks like mine except with the dust sheep (yes, they are bigger than bunnies.)

I like Dan’s FBI agent outfit, but I think he bears a striking resemblance to the guy in the Matrix. Ya know the one than can duplicate himself and keeps trying to kill Keanu Reeves? Must be the dark glasses. But still, a great costume and so is Cole’s.

Wow, he totally pulls off the Fox Mulder – how adorable!!

I love your iconic bee costume – very classy.

Tell Aiden to get a pic from one of her friends… you KNOW they took pics of each other. πŸ˜‰

It is a perfect combo – Season 2-ish Mulder and a Little Green Man, I know technically Reticulans are grey, but green is so much cooler! And of course, that bee had a lot to answer for in the first X-Files film! :oP

Love the bee. Again. I was a nun. Again. (When you’ve spent 13 years in Catholic school, you get to dress up as a nun for Halloween, and the Church doesn’t hold it against you. I think, anyway).

    CATHY!!! DO YOU READ THESE??

Sorry for the yelling, guess I’m a little excited! I was just going through some old magazine pages I had torn out for inspiration. And there, on one of the perfectly filed pages, was you! Or your name at least!

Imagine my surprize – Cathy Zielsk – St. Paul, MN and your layout of “Sharon & her Boys” or something like that.

OK, so YOU knew you had it in there, and probably do did everyone else, but it was fun to “discover” you myself!

    Great costumes!
Glad you got a fall, here in Texas the leaves turn one day and fall the next.
This year, I will say the leaves have been pretty, but it’s still in the 70s!

Love the costumes Cathy! And yes.. I think your Hubby ist HOT! When I look out of the window here in Germany most of the trees have lost their pretty leaves… but one.. just outside my office window ist still full of lovely orange leaves.. the colour of fire. I like to imagine it has kept its leaves just for my pleasure.

As for your costume…I bought a $40 mummy costume (really cool sheath dress, etc) at Target 3 years ago and I plan to do the same thing, as long as I can fit in it and pull off the whole tight dress thing;)

Fall is so beautiful where you are! After hot weather earlier this month we finally got some sweater wearing fall weather. Just as I put away the summer clothes and pull out all the cold weather stuff I hear that it’s supposed to get back up into the 90’s this Fri & Sat!! I guess that’s why I love living here–in Southern California–you can’t beat the great weather!
