You…you are AWESOME!

There's nothing sweeter than a short, independent film with heart. Thanks, Suzelle, for sending this clip to me. (It's 16 minutes, but I promise you, it's worth it.)

Also, I was honored to be asked to write a short column over at Today's Mama about the best gift I ever got. It's a bit sentimental, but I meant every word.

haven’t had time to watch the video – am sure it’s great – but did hop over and read your spot on Today’s Mama – and it was wonderful – exactly the things I say about my sweetheart. We have the best don’t we? Add two great kids and how could life be any better? Am starting a new cookie a month on my blog [and giving proper credit to the recipe source -see my barley soup recipe for the reference to you…] if you want to take a look – the secret? Make a batch , eat just a couple, and ship the rest to the kids at Auburn! http://www.bepresentbereal.blogspot.com

I read the article and it’s perfect! Looks like you, like me, married a good man 🙂 It’s the small every day gifts of support and love that make life worth living! Have a great rest of your week 🙂

I’ll watch this later today – but I have to tell you that the other clip you posted a while back about the women & the club, it got me to thinking and I’m starting a working moms lunch club where I live and at the first meeting I’m going to play that clip. Thanks for finding the coolest stuff on you tube!

Loved the short film. I like TJ Thyne so him being in it made it even better but it was a great film. They say that smiling in contagious.

I liked your article too. Very sincere. Thanks for sharing both!

Thank you for making my day the article was so right on. My husband is not at all a gift giver like most. One mothers day he and the boys planted me a rose garden and said don’t ever say I don’t bring you flowers. Grant it I have to take care of them and cut them my self but the gesture was there. Your the best! Dan is also lucky to have you in his life. Have a great day.

Beautiful sentiment you wrote, also. I expected something self-deprecating and witty, but you a strong “serious” writer as well. TFS
