There's nothing sweeter than a short, independent film with heart. Thanks, Suzelle, for sending this clip to me. (It's 16 minutes, but I promise you, it's worth it.)
Also, I was honored to be asked to write a short column over at Today's Mama about the best gift I ever got. It's a bit sentimental, but I meant every word.

haven’t had time to watch the video – am sure it’s great – but did hop over and read your spot on Today’s Mama – and it was wonderful – exactly the things I say about my sweetheart. We have the best don’t we? Add two great kids and how could life be any better? Am starting a new cookie a month on my blog [and giving proper credit to the recipe source -see my barley soup recipe for the reference to you…] if you want to take a look – the secret? Make a batch , eat just a couple, and ship the rest to the kids at Auburn! http://www.bepresentbereal.blogspot.com

I’ll watch this later today – but I have to tell you that the other clip you posted a while back about the women & the club, it got me to thinking and I’m starting a working moms lunch club where I live and at the first meeting I’m going to play that clip. Thanks for finding the coolest stuff on you tube!

Thank you for making my day the article was so right on. My husband is not at all a gift giver like most. One mothers day he and the boys planted me a rose garden and said don’t ever say I don’t bring you flowers. Grant it I have to take care of them and cut them my self but the gesture was there. Your the best! Dan is also lucky to have you in his life. Have a great day.
