This girl

Oh how I love this girl and how she doesn't run for the hills when I grab my camera and say, "Hey, let's take some pictures!"

I wish I had been this camera friendly at her age. Sigh. Or at least had her bangs.

Oh wait, I DID have her bangs.

Er, sort of.

It's hard to believe I've been her Mama all these years. I made a page last week using a shot from her 13-year-old birthday post, and that I ended up using here as well.

Here's to offspring, cameras, bangs and growing up.

    Oh… I wish my daughter was that camera friendly too… I guess she’ll only realize what’s she’s missing once she’s older…
The layout is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

I’ve always admired people who could use eyeliner on the inside of their lids. She’s a doll. It’s nice that you can capture her free spirit, as yours was back in the day, in photos.

“Bangs”…that word always cracks me up because we know what it means, but do you ever think about the way it sounds? (Just a little trip inside my thought processes!) TFS!!!

Love her confidence in front of the camera. At her age I was running for the hills. It didn’t help that I had the most gosh awful spiral perm:( Those are bangs to be proud of!!!! and yours and your buddies were beyond cool:) Love it.

Wow, your little girl has grown up just since the last photo you posted! Nothing on this Earth can be compared to parenting, nor can it be properly defined, I think. Who knew?

She’s so beautiful…and I am so teary. My little one turns 13 this year, too. How did that happen?

Great stuff! I remember crying when my daughter turned nine. I thought, “this is half of her life at home.” The tears flowed of and on all of that day. She is a beautiful 44 year old now.

You are so lucky Cathy. I have a 16 year old daughter who runs screaming out the nearest door everytime I pick up my camera; her fleeing posterior is not a good camera angle!!

A stunning young woman with great bangs. What a girl to be proud of. Great eyes that I envy. I am allergic to makeup–even the hypoallergenic kind. Never could have those gorgeous eyes.

Oh man Cathy, she is growing up so beautiful and from the looks of it, confidant! Good job Mama! My daughter will be 13 in June. Time goes by way too fast! Thank goodness for this hobby of ours. What would life be like if we didn’t document it the way we do?

She’s adorable Cathy and hate to say it but she wears the bangs much better than you did! Too fun!

Dang, Cathy, you’re going to have to beat the boys off with a stick! Better have the hubby get out his shotgun, as my dad was always fond of saying! πŸ˜‰

I wish I had her skill with eyeliner – 30 years older than Aidan and still look like a panda if I attempt to use eyeliner – great skills Adian πŸ™‚

I LOVE your simple designs and love this LO. Thank you for sharing and providing all of us with inspiration. When you provide us a glimpse of your pages, can you include the font names along with the LO? It takes me ages to find the right font for the simple designs you use and inspire me to scraplift.

Aaahh, so that’s what you’re supposed to do in those clothes!!! It’s been so long I’d forgotten!
Love the photos of Aiden, she IS very cool!
