It's my girlie's birthday today. She's 14.

At 1:40 p.m. on this day in 1996, I became a mama.

Now there's a little slice of awesomeness for you.

Happy birthday, sweet girl. I love you.

p.s. I'm sorry I said that one skirt and that shirt weren't your best look the other day. Fourteen years and you'd think I wouldn't put my foot so squarely into my mouth, but guess what? I still occasionally do.

I love seeing you become.

    I had to LOL at the foot in mouth comment. I am still trying to thaw from the icy glares I got after suggesting my own bundle of teen joy might want to relax the eye makeup, that reminded me of a Micheal Jackson’s thriller, just a bit… Ekkkkk the experimental years!!!

My puddin head is now 21 and away at college…hate it and love it…but it is wonderful to watch them and see them grow into the most shockingly smart and funny people…definitely in my case, inspite of my crazy self!
