In the summer of 2009, I launched a campaign to raise money for clean water with charity: water. I asked you, my wonderful blog readers to help in any way you could, and boy, did you! You ended up raising over $8,700 that went directly to build water wells in developing third world countries. Rock on with your bad selves.
I recently shared this on my Facebook page, but wanted to share it here, for those who didn't see it. Thanks so much to everyone in this amazing community for that support.

I also wanted to thank you for your support of my friend and artist Lisa Erickson's work creating "Strong in the Rain," a booklet I designed with Lisa to help raise funds for Ashinga, an organization in Japan giving support to children who lost their families in the devastating tsunamis.
Lisa has reprinted another 100 hand made books and will again donate 100% of the proceeds to benefit this ongoing project. If you are interested in purchasing this book, visit her Etsy store.
Lisa chose Ashinga because she herself lost her mother at a young age and wants to help support this group who will be helping children to process their grief from this tragedy.
You can read my original post about this project by clicking here.
Thanks again for all of your support, now and over the years. Have a lovely weekend and I'll see you all next week.
