OM Goodness, I’ve gained 10 pounds just looking at that “yummy” , not good for me but I want some food.
Susan Ringlersays
OK, I just have to ask— where did all those beautiful treats come from? Did you guys bake all those? How did you get such a great variety???
Hope your day was wonderful as you!

What I would give for the metabolism of a 12 year old boy!!!!! Heck, I would give anything for the metabolism of anyone younger than my mid-fifty years! Those treats look absolutely scrumptious. Thank goodness there are no calories consumed when you eat with your eyes, so many thanks for the visual treat – I thoroughly enjoyed it!
You always make me laugh. I decided to weigh today (before sitting in the car for 13 hours) and I about cried….. how can something that took me soooo long to achieve slide so far out of reach so quickly??? Now I am sitting here brewing about my end of year failure…. but also making a plan for how to pull it back together and not get this out of control ever again. Brought everything I need to prepare for your class on this trip. Very eager to join you on the journey. Also reading Ravenous which I bought on your suggestion a long time ago…… thanks for allowing me to realize I am not alone and that I can get this all under control somehow. Peace in 2012.

Im right there with you Kristi. Seriously. : )
Although today, I woke up with a tender stomach, which has been happening for the past three days actually, so I feel like I dont want to eat, nor can I run. See you in class! : )

yes, my 16 year old is is heaven with all of the sweet treats in our kitchen. Me, I felt like yuk after eating too much and the wrong things yesterday. Today I am wondering why we feel the need to surround ourselves with sugar at Christmas. Tradition?

Again, waiting for actual thing to open in a new window.

“…and the metabolism of a 12-year-old boy.” Ha! I should be so lucky! I gained 2 pounds just looking at that photo of those scrumptious cookies. π I don’t plan on standing on a scale until Jan. 1st 2012, when I’ll be joining you for your Move Well Eat Well class. “See” you then!

I nearly choked on my Christmas cookie when I saw this picture!

Love this photo. You are so lucky/cursed to have such a great baker in your family! OK, your photo was the last push I needed to take your class. I had been debating wether to sign up or not. I don’t do well with year-long classes. Some weird quirk about not finishing anything I start. But seeing all those scrumpcious cookies and knowing that I don’t feel well when I eat them, gave me the push to sign up. I WILL, I WILL sign up for your class this week.
Bea, each month is like a whole new class, so no worries on the whole feeling behind thing! : )

This is the exact same table of sweets my sister had yesterday… and there I sat lookingly longingly with the stomache flu. UGH! I’ve lost ten pounds in 3 days. It’s one way not to overindulgence over Xmas but I don’t recommend it.
Juliesays
The cookies look great. Our family is finishing up the holiday with one last round of our annual Festival of Cheese. It is just as dangerous as sweets. I hope to get one or two days of jogging in before attempting to step on the scale.

Lol Cathy – even the 12 year old is looking a tad green around the gills …. and I can understand why!

I would love to be my 60yo self with his metabolism. I think that would be about as close to perfect as it gets! π Happy New Year!
