Introducing the One Days of Giveaways! A new CZ Design holiday tradition (at least for this year)

December 2, 2013

Introducing the One Days of Giveaways! A new CZ Design holiday tradition (at least for this year)

I always wished I had a ginormous operating budget for my blog to do an awesomely huge holiday giveaway as a way to say thank you for reading my blog.

You know, think Oprah’s Favorite Things, but CZ Design-style. On Day One, you’d win an orange sweatshirt. On Day Two, you’d win three sessions with Joe, my physical therapist. On Day Three, a blue raspberry ICEE. And on Day Four, a new car!

But right now I only have the means for a One Days of Giveaways™ (just kidding, it’s not trademarked), and I think it’s pretty awesome.

Today, I have three copies of the brand spankin’ new Photoshop Elements 12 for three of you. It’s so new that I don’t even have a copy yet. But of course, no copy of Photoshop Elements would be as much fun without digital goodies to play with, so each of the three winners will get their choice of any 10 of my products (no limits on what you choose).

Give

TO ENTER: Just tell me what you are most looking forward to this month. That’s the first way to enter.

A second way to enter? If you haven’t already, please Like my Facebook page, come back here, post a comment and tell me that it is so.

A third way to enter? Follow me on Twitter, come back here and again, leave me a comment and tell me that it is so.

A fourth way to enter? If you already follow me on Twitter and Facebook, leave me a comment and tell me, “Um, Hello? Been doing that for, like, ever!”

This gives people a chance to enter multiple times.

This giveaway will stay open until Thursday night, and I’ll post the winners on Friday.

Thank you for reading my blog. I genuinely appreciate your comments and your visits. I’m really going to work to make 2014 more fun, more real and more informative. And always, as crap free as possible.

This giveaway is now closed. Check back on Friday morning to see if you’re a winner.

I don’t have the latest software either and would step over designers in the street for a copy lol. I’d also sell my grandma for any of your digital designs. But , it’s the season of goodwill, so instead, I’m leaving a comment lol. All is well here in the UK. Pxx

The thing I look forward to the most is baking together with my husband who is a pastry chef in his spare time, as a hobby. We bake the tradional Christmas pasties and breads from our native Holland and some specialties from Germany and Switzerland like WeihnachtStollen bread. I’m always in awe how get makes the almond filling fresh and by hand.
It’s one if the few traditions we have being kid-less at home and living in another country your traditions tend to change.

I am looking forward to the entire month of December. So thankful my 96 year old mother is still with us and able to enjoy the holidays. So looking forward to some cold weather….I know that sounds kind of corny, but it has been so mild here in the midwest, it hasn’t really seemed like winter…….yet! Probably have a giant snowfall tomorrow and will have to “eat those words”! All my children are going skiing this year and Christmas will just be me and my hubby. I spend lots of time at home and PSE12 would be a lovely addition to my computer since I am planning on starting Project Life 2014…..never got around to 2013 🙁 Happy Holidays, Cathy!!

I am looking forward to creating “Holiday Magic” for my middle son – 8 years old.
He LOVES Christmas and well, I don’t. I love celebrating Jesus’ birthday, don’t get me wrong, but I’m a humbug when it comes to all the over-the-top holiday stuff we now call Christmas.
With that said, I have made the conscience decision to say “yes” more to Christmasy things, keep it simple, and encourage my boy to LOVE Christmas even more and maybe I’ll love it along with him.

    Hi Cathy,

This will probably seem like a downer post, but what I’m looking forward the most is to start a new year. 2013 has been the hardest year for me with many losses, tough decisions and heart break. It was not all bad, as I have grown stronger, wiser and older (turned 50 EEK!). But the sadness and heartache have made the holidays very difficult, so I’m ready to move past them and begin a new year.

School time is so busy and my big girl’s job keeps her running so the few days before and after Christmas is time to just be together and reconnect. We do puzzles, cook and eat, watch movies, maybe even scrapbook a bit! Let’s skip the rest and get right to that! 🙂

I love your writing, and at about midnight last night I signed up for your Move More class! I even ordered a BH Mini Album in green just like yours..lol..gosh, I kind of sound stalkerish…but I’m not, I promise 🙂
I am most looking forward to having ALL of my family home for a few days. One daughter very busy with work, one son on the West Coast (I live on the East Coast), and one daughter frantically trying to get through her last week of classes and finals in her senior year in college. Having all of us home together always makes my heart full. We play fun games, make homemade pizza together (hubby and I tried the potato feta one, btw) and just generally enjoy each other’s company.

We look forward to traveling North to Montreal to watch our son perform in Les GrandsBallets performance of Casse Noisette. After the last performance of the day before Christmas Eve he gets 2 days off and comes home with us. The reason it is my favorite is because he always suprises us with his parts in the show. Also because we drive home after and get home very late but we play Christmas music all thr way, stop for coffee and he is home with us. His life as a dancer is very demanding and rewarding in so many ways but we don’t get to see him as often as I would like.

For the first time EVER mine won’t be going up as we have a nine month golden retriever who would most probably eat all the decorations and have the tree for dessert LOL. Better to be safe than a trip to the vet on Christmas Day. Many blessings

I’m looking forward to spending Christmas with my husband for the first time in two years. He just returned from his second tour in Afghanistan and is already off at more training in another state, so he missed Thanksgiving and my birthday. Plus, my family, who are scattered all over the world, are all finally able to come to stay for the first time, so we’ll all actually be together at Christmas–and I couldn’t be more excited. Planning to fill up quite a few memory cards!

I don’t look forward to one thing in particular. I love the whole season. Friendlier people (usually), smells of gingerbread in the house, shopping, seeing my eldest in a Christmas play, hearing and watching my son’s band play in front of a large crowd and having my heart drop while he crowd surfs, wrapping presents, drinking eggnog, the annual family Christmas party in which we eat Chinese food and armadillo eggs, singing along with all my holiday CDs, making and mailing cards, praying for snow, sitting in the dark living room gazing upon the lit up Christmas tree. And reading blogs. I like to read blogs. And Facebook. And Twitter. And Instagram. Merry Christmas, Cathy. And thank you for a One Days Giveaway.

I look forward to spending time together as a family. We have had a rough 3 months, not sure I want to document ANY of it, but it is part of US as a family, and THAT is what I do . . . . Win or not, I am glad to be typing these words, they give me HOPE, and I want to BELIEVE it will get better, and I want to BELIEVE that I CAN document and photograph and scrapbook again someday.

Thank you for the chance to win, and thank you for words that you type that hit my heart, and you never know what they mean to me – before today, I was just a blog stalker – so many people have commented here – It feels like an extended family.

    Thank you! Kathleen

Except, you can pick ME for the PSE gift! Thanks, Cathy. And MERRY MERRY MERRY to you & your family.

p.s. Love that orange sweatshirt—I got a neat one from my son last year for Christmas. A U of ILL grad, I wore out my “Illini A-Go-Go-” shirt in the 60s/70s. So my son found a photo of me in it, took it to a custom shop, & had it recreated. FUN!

Great giveaway Kathy. I’m looking forward to what we call “family Christmas.” When all of my Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, from my mom’s side of the family get together and have a potluck meal, share presents, and play board games (the games are what I really look forward to). It’s usually either the weekend before, or after Christmas and the one time of year I get to see most of my extended family. Last year we missed it because we just discovered my daughter’s severe food allergies, so we are all really looking forward to it this year.

Christmas – that is all I am ever looking forward to in December. It is such a wonderful season of taking time to remember how much was given to us and then 33 years later sacrificed for us. Time with God, time with family, good food and lots of smiles – that is how my December goes. Thanks for the contest.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Oh wow, SO hope this UK gal can drop her name in the draw hat please!
I’m looking forward to a few days off from work and seeing the faces of my small grandchildren, as they enjoy the magical fun of a family Christmas.
We are blessed to have each other : )

I just went and “liked” your Facebook page. Frankly, I’m a little shocked I hadn’t done that before.

Okay. I confirmed. I have been following you on Twitter (and Instagram). Lovely. Oh, and thanks for this lovely giveaway. I’ve been happy with PSE9, but I’ve been feeling that itch for PSE12 for the last few weeks!
