The summer issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today is out today! And the great thing is you can view the entire magazine online for free here.
This is the second issue I’ve worked on and do you want to know what my favorite thing about it is? It’s a magazine. About scrapbooking. HOLLA!
The other cool thing is that you can actually subscribe to this and hold it in your hands. Yes, print is not dead people. It’s alive and thriving and we print on the most luscious paper in the land.
We also have a page of free downloads exclusive to this issue, including a template and a cut file from me:
The issue is packed with so many great pages and ideas and techniques! I’m thinking this is a nice segue for your weekend scrapbooking. Click here to view it right now.
As you flip through the magazine, everything you see that briefly highlights in blue is clickable and will take you to learn more based on the links in the magazine.
Thanks to our amazing creative team and to all of our issue contributors. The reader gallery is seriously rocking in this issue!
This is one of my most favorite freelance gigs in a long time. For a print designer to actually have a print project to work on? That’s a very good thing. The fact that it is about scrapbooking? Bonus!
Enjoy, have a great weekend, and I’ll see you here Monday for another installment of Make a Page Monday featuring the free honeycomb cut file above.

I’ve subscribed to SCT for a couple of years now and I love it. Blogs are great, but nothing beats the feeling of reading a real live scrapbook magazine. I just received my summer issue and am loving it. Long live scrapbooking!

Thank you for the link to subscribe! Doing that right now!! Oh how I miss print magazines and so happy you have your hands all over this one! Love your classy design style! The cover of this is beautifully done! Cannot wait to see the inside pages!! (How many more sentences can I write using exclamations at the end?!?) Good thing you’re the editor and not me because I would be fired for over use of happy excited punctuation!! :o)

Yuor style starts to shine through in the design. It’s so nice & clean now, I love it. I’m actually learning about design by noticing how you designed the pages, haha. Love it.

Thanks, Anne! We did make a few subtle changes to our magazine’s typography this month. 🙂
