A few weeks back I added a new page to my blog geared toward anyone new who might be visiting for the first time here and wonder, “Is scrapbooking all she writes about?”
I’ve wanted to have a compendium of favorite posts for a long time, and this new page is that start. By no means is it a sampling of the greatest online writing of all time, but they are posts that when I was finished putting them together, I thought, “That. That is what I would like every post to be.” Some are funny. Some are meaningful. Most have some element of reality which is something I want to preserve more than anything.
Of course, not every post is thought provoking or important. In fact, the number that are might be much fewer than I’d like to believe. But the new page includes a mix of stuff that I would like to think represent me as a writer beyond the world of semi-professional scrapbooking fame.
Yep. That’s a thing.
In the coming weeks, I plan to add more to this page, as well as a clickable compendium of my favorite free downloads and tutorials. Check it out if you’re so inclined.
That is all I have today, friends. Time to get my tushka to work. Enjoy the weekend!

Awesome post. Read each story and loved them all. Your blog makes us all feel normal, I think.

Thanks, Judi. It makes me feel normal sometimes, too. 🙂

Cathy, much of what makes your scrapbook pages significant is the story. (The photography is always pretty cool, too, I admit.) But your story is always honest, and that means most of the time, it’s something I myself can relate to, and often say, “Hey, that’s how I felt, too!”
Your readers love your wit, your sense of humor and your genuine heart that shows in your writing. It’s what keeps us coming back. Thanks so much for sharing with us.

Thank you. 🙂

I have no time for blogs that make life seem artificial and perfect (I actually follow one and I keep waiting for her to have a nervous breakdown….).
I keep coming back here b/c you’re so open and real. Gives me a great look at what is coming up for me.
Thank you for being so open!
