My two books on scrapbooking (Clean & Simple Scrapbooking and Clean & Simple Scrapbooking: the Sequel) are now available in digital PDF format. Having just recently secured the rights to both of them, I wanted to make them available in this format for a few reasons.
- Shipping overseas is hella expensive and this makes is much more affordable to enjoy the simple goodness if you live anywhere outside of the United States.
- We live in a modern age and I was able to download both books to my iPad and read them in the iBooks app. I felt so… modern.
- The content is still pretty damned good if I do say so myself.
One of the things I realized as I went through this content to get it into shape is that my approach has not changed since I wrote these books. The pages I create today would fit perfectly into either of these books. Hell, I felt inspired to create just looking through them again.
The PDFs will be delivered in a screen resolution document upon purchase. (About 45 mb for each book.) If you require a high resolution PDF for printing, all you have to do is let me know via email and I’ll send you a separate link. (The high res files clock in at just over 200 mb each.)
I updated a few areas in the second book (for example, all the things I referenced as online resources are gone now, sigh, except for Ali Edwards (boom!). Otherwise, it’s the same goodness of the printed books.
Oh, I did change the body font to black. In the printed books, it’s all gray. Gray is harder to read on screen, so… you know.
Please note: these PDFs do not function fully like eBooks would in a traditional eBook reader, but if your device can read PDFs, you’re golden.

I have loved these books forever. They are full of clean and simple page designs that can be used over and over. If you don’t have these, you NEED them! If you do have these, maybe you need them in PDF form. Love!

Congratulations on getting through the conversion from Q to ID! So excited for you, that you now own the rights AND have already made them available in PDF format! As a “book builder” myself, I know the task at hand was no small feat to conquer. You should definitely celebrate with a glass of wine!

Oh yes, wine will happen much later tonight. We have to drive to Madison, WI, for an ultimate tournament. So wine will happen upon arrival! And seriously, that plug in, while pricey, worked like buttah.

I’m so happy about this! When we moved to Costa Rica 11 years ago we sold most of our stuff and only brought the bare minimum. I had to leave behind books because they’re too heavy. I loved these books and it made me happy all over again seeing the pages you featured. I love your style! I go visit my family every summer and come home with an over stuffed suitcase with scrappy goodies, paper, and the many things I purchase back home because we can’t find them here. I still haven’t been able to bring the books. Thank you so much!!!
