I decided at the very last minute to join in with Ali Edwards’ Week in the Life documentation project. I did this last year in digital format (see my pages here) and that’s what I’m doing again this year. Truth be told, I haven’t printed my digital pages from last year, but after I wrap up this year, I will remedy that situation.
I want to keep this SO simple. Three pages for each day. All shot in iPhone. That’s it.
The only thing I’m going to do is alternate color and black and white images.
I haven’t even taken a shot yet today, so I’d best get something documented. I’ll share my pages each day as I go, with the exception of this weekend. Those will come next week.
Learn more about this project as well as get the links to Ali’s templates that I am using here.
Week in the Life simplicity for the win.
p.s. didn’t manage to snag any shots of Cole. But he still lives here, I assure you.

Always love your approach to documenting! I am observing this Week in the Life again. I did Ali’s Day in the life last year and was shocked that I finished:) but, wow I love the results and memories. I hope to someday follow through on WITL instead of sit on the sidelines:( My life is just so darn repetitive:)

It eases my heart that your teenage son is also absent via photos (I’m not alone).

Wow – totally loving your CZ-WITL style. I bowed out of doing it this time around cuz my teenager bent his cell and stole mine (i.e., no phone = no photos). No worries, just forces me to do WITL in the Summer for once.

Love it……….I just printed my 2014 Photo Book (digital) 2 weeks ago so don’t feel bad. I still have 2013 WITL in progress but haven’t started the 2015 either. I think I’ll print 2016 first and then go back. I can’t believe I have been doing this since 2008…back in the early days I was using plastic sleeves and printed pages but I want to put all of those into photo books now too….so much easier for storage as well. This project can sound boring to some but looking back on the last 3 years for myself things change…even the ordinary routines. Look forward to seeing the rest of your week Cathy. Fingers crossed for Dan. Spent my working life as a teacher…there is nothing more rewarding.
