I’m writing this to you today and you should know that I am wearing a bee costume as you are reading these very words. In fact, I probably look something like this:
How do you know this to be true? Well, it’s Halloween and this is kind of what I do.
IRREGAH-DLESS… the festivities (and moderate sugar hangover) of Halloween will soon be over and tomorrow is the start of a project I’ve been doing for years, creating a record of gratitude all during the month of November.
This year, all are welcome to join me, whether you just want to be a part of my Facebook group, or if you want to take a mini e-course designed to get you in the mindset of gratitude. There is not set correct way to do this, but of course, I have many digital products to make the album easier. It’s totally up to you!
I will be sharing my entries on social media (Instagram and in the Facebook Group) and very likely doing a few compendiums here on the blog throughout the month! If you are sharing what you are creating, or simply what you are noting to be thankful for, use this hashtag, #cz30daysofthankful, so I can see what you are sharing.
Here’s to a happy Halloween and a gratitude-filled November.
Oh, and in case you missed this or feel the strong urge to watch it again, by all means…
Oh right… the free thing! I’ve created a little digital stamp overlay to celebrate 30 Days of Thankful. Here is the digital package (click on it to begin the download.) Inside there is one PNG file for your social media sharing pleasure.
And here is how to use that digital stamp on your iPhone with no Photoshop required. Just a little app I like to use called LetterGlow. Note: Android users, I have been told that Photo Editor is a great app for your phones and one that will let you place and edit PNG digital stamps!
Here is a brief and unscientific tutorial of how to use PNGs with the LetterGlow app. It’s also helpful if you have a Dropbox account and create a folder to store your digital stamps! Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions!

I downloaded to my dropbox but it won’t let me open it. Says it needs to be png what did I do wrong?
RitaQ says
Bummed that Letterglow has not created an iPad version of their app. Would love to use it but even with my iPhone 6Plus, the screen is not large enough for me to edit/play with photos. I do almost everything on my iPad Pro. Except those special photos & then it’s PSE/RadLab. ps… thanks for the overlay.
Cathy Zielske says
Hey Sandy, you’ll need to unzip the file. I have to Zip (Compress) files to upload to my website. Try downloading it on your computer, unzipping, THEN add to your drop box.
Sheree says
I know! I cannot get this overlay into my Dropbox as anything but a zipped file…how do I unzip? I am not good at too complicated technology and what I can do has to be large enough to see.
Cathy Zielske says
Sheree, can you download to your computer? If not, just go to the 30 Days of Thankful Facebook group. I posted it as an unzipped file in the Files section of the group.
https://www.facebook.com/groups/714413851968242/
Sheree says
Haha! I have no idea how I did it, but I unzipped the file and posted day 1 & 2 to Instagram! I think I and gonna look for a set of 31 numbers so I can use them this month and fir my December Daily.
Joan Abraham says
Awesome as usual! Thanks Cathy!

Hi there excellent website! Does running a blog like
this require a great deal of work? I’ve absolutely no knowledge of programming but I had been hoping to
start my own blog soon. Anyhow, should you have any ideas or tips for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off subject however I simply had to ask.
Appreciate it!
