My 30 Days of Thankful continues. I’ve found a daily rhythm for creating entries. One thing that helps? I just don’t reinvent the wheel. It’s a consistent spread from day to day. It brings a real sense of order to this project and lets me focus on what I want to include. Here are the last seven days.
Nothing like an ordinary day, am I right ladies?
Nothing like an election, am I right ladies?
Nothing like family, am I right ladies?
Nothing like a home cooked meal, am I right ladies?
Nothing like a teen ager who’s doing well in school, am I right ladies?
Nothing like safely emerging from a wisdom teeth extraction, am I right ladies?
Nothing like connecting to sadness, am I right ladies? (Might not get a total holla on that one, but I’m grateful for it, nonetheless.)
And so the project continues.
If you would like to jump in (and honestly, there is still time) you can do two thing.

Hi Cathy,
Just wanted to say a big “Thank You” for your 30 Days of Thankful project, and all the inspiration you provide. Truth be told, I wasn’t going to do it. My 17 year old son is suffering from a terrible mood disorder and his grades are dropping. I bought the stamps anyways, and thought, just do this. Then I had a mammogram that I got called back from for more testing, and then my immature self said: “No way I am doing this project now!” But fortunately my more mature self kicked me in the butt and I signed up for your class and loved it, and even before the results from my biopsy came back, I bought a cute album and printed off the cards from your class. Luckily all my results were negative, but it was a reminder about how much we all have to be thankful for, even though we may be going through some tough stuff. There is always something to be grateful for, so thanks again Cathy for reminding me of this. You are awesome!

Thanks to you, I’ve done 30DaysofThankful a few times now and love it every single time. It’s easy and meaningful with just enough creativity to make my heart happy. Thank you for the inspiration.
