This month I hope to do several things and chief among them? More blogging.
I’m kicking off the month with a free phone wallpaper file but you should know it simply emerged out of necessity. You see, my phone is my clock at night, as I’m sure many of you can relate, but I cannot see anything without my glasses. I wanted a holiday scene for my phone but the key details (the time on my iPhone) was getting lost in all the holiday merriment of this bokeh image you see pictured above. My solution? Add a holiday gradient just so I can see the dang time.
And so, you may now share in the hand-held digital merriment.
Simply download by clicking on the image above, unzip the images, and transfer to your phone and install as your wallpaper.
Here’s to a season of giving. I need to do more of this every day.

Maybe I’m getting too old… I’m so not tech savvy. But I do want this beautiful Christmas spirit on my iPhone…I just can’t figure out how to unzip it??? When I click on the image and the zip page comes up there’s nothing for me to click on… what am I missing??Only option is to send it to my printer.
Cathy Zielske says
Janna, I know if you’re on a mac, you just unzip it by double clicking on it. Then you can text it to yourself. Are you trying to do this on your phone?
I always zip my files for my website for security and ease of download. I’m going to email them to you directly, unzipped.
Lori says
Hi Cathy,
I’m in the same boat as Janna. ? If you have a moment, would you be able to email me the unzipped files? Thank you! Just can’t figure it out.

I’m not very tech savvy but, through trial and error, I was able to e-mail it to myself & open the e-mail on my phone to save it as my wall paper. Thanks for teaching me something new today. Merry Christmas!!!
Karen says
How did you save it?
Tina says
Thank you! Merry Christmas!
Karen says
“Simply download by clicking on the image above, unzip the images, and transfer to your phone and install as your wallpaper.” “Simply” shouldn’t be in that sentence. I don’t know how to do any of that!
:>)
Cathy Zielske says
Hey karen! I just sent you the file via email, not zipped. Just a JPEG file. If you open the email on your phone you can save the image to your phone. π
