CATHY: Hey Santa, can I see an entire magazine of scrapbook and card inspiration online today for free?
SAINT NICK: Ho, ho, ho! Well of course you can, little Cathy! I mean, you’ve been a really good girl this year.
CATHY: Well, mostly…
And SCENE!
Yes, ladies… today is the day! The Winter 2016 issue of Scrapbook & Cards Today is out and live online today! You can read my Design Your Life column here.
Today I’m sharing my two layouts from the issue with you. First up, this page featuring my offspring:
The theme of my column is hybrid scrapbooking (using your computer + traditional products) which has been my approach since day 1. A great photo paired with a great story. My kind of memory keeping.
Next up is a holiday page featuring one of my favorite cut files of all time from my design sister from another mother, Kerri Bradford. Her “jingle all the way” cut file showed up all over the internet when she first released it. A very popular cut file, I had to figure out a way to use it on my page. I love a good collage. Such an easy way to combine a mess of iPhone shots together.
Click here to read the issue online and don’t forget to also check out all the free download goodies we have for you! Wouldn’t this card set below be fun for your December Daily project? Snag that and more downloads by click on the image.
Ready for some more holiday cheer?
Starting tomorrow it’s the 12 Days of Holiday Giving from Scrapbook & Cards Today magazine! Be sure to celebrate with us as we kick off our 8th annual “12 days of holiday giving” starting December 10! During these 12 days you’ll discover creative holiday inspiration from their amazing design team along with over $2K in prizes from their industry partners! That’s a lot of crafty swag, ladies. Tis’ the season!
Last but not least: What types of things would you like to see me cover in my column next year for the magazine? We are planning our 2017 calendar now and I’m all ears.

I got my hard copy in the mail the other day and I can’t wait to read it this weekend! I love your layouts, especially the one with only your kids. Mine are in a like/dislike relationship right now, heavier on the dislike. I’m hoping that changes once one of them moves out!

A little late to the CZ blog party — I love it that you include your layouts in your blog from this magazine. Can NEVER get enough of your design style, and life stories.
