Today I’m sharing my November pages from my year-long album project, but the other cool thing? Now that is December, I’m putting the Scrapbook Your Year e-course on sale for 10% off through January 10th, 2017. If you’re thinking of trying my approach for 2017, why not save on the registration fee today?
My book is coming along so nicely and after this month, I’ll be ready to send the pages off to the printer to get a book made. You know what feels good? Looking on my hard drive and seeing this:
That, ladies, is my year to date of memories in JPEG format, waiting to be sent to a printer. I seriously love having these done and ready. Let’s move onto November, shall we?
Number of photos taken in September: 366
Number of photos used on these pages: 26
A few things to note:
- I did use some of the same photos in these pages that appeared in my 30 Days of Thankful project. And you know what? No big deal.
- I did mention the election in my journaling and am including this in a respectful way. If you’ve followed me all these years and haven’t figured out that lean a bit left, then now you know. I’m also an American who wants to do whatever I can to foster peace and understanding. So if you want to leave something in the comments that is not in the name of peace and understanding, please don’t.
But here’s the beautiful part about this scrapbooking approach: I preach simplicity in scrapbooking and ladies, it doesn’t get any simpler than this in terms of a method to recording what matters with a few words and some images. It is streamlined. It takes the crap out of the process. (Not sure what I mean by crap? This will help.) And this approach of mine works whether you are a digital scrapbooker, a traditional scrapbooker or somewhere in between, like me.
If you missed the rest of 2016, here’s the catch up:

Nice job! I’ve used your class to help me scrapbook my year but I tweaked it a bit. I use a 6×8 album rather than a 12×12 but that’s the only difference. And it works for me. I closed out my year with November. December goes into my DD album. I’ve been loving this approach for yearly documenting. Thanks Cathy!
