Today I’m sharing my third card as a guest designer for Concord & 9th and I can’t lie… I watched a Jennifer McGuire video where she used this same set and thought, “Okay, THAT is what I want to try, too!” The fact that you can use a circle die to make leaves? GET OUT OF TOWN!
Here are the new releases I worked with for this card:
Honestly, there are so many ways you could go with this set, but I saw Jennifer make a flower and I thought: Yep, making a flower, too!
Not only did she give me the idea to use a circle die to cut leaves (so smart!), but I also got the idea to score the cardstock from her, as well! I just lined up a scrap of the orange card stock on my Scor-Pal and used my teflon bone folder (so worth the money, people!) to score the lines, and then used the stitched circle die to cut it out.
How cute is that petite gingham from Doodlebug Design?
And yes, I bought a bottle of Nuvo Crystal Drops in white to add detail and texture to the center of the flower.
Again, I ask, “WHO AM I?”
I’m a card maker, y’all!
If you really want to see how much these two sets can do, check out Jennifer’s video. She’s the yoda master, people.

Haha! I love being a scrap yoda! The thing is, the card thing is really fun and it really inspired me when I was making all the layouts for Design Your Life 2.0. Crafty goodness all around!

Love the colours you used on this card! You’re making me want to buy all the things, but by the time I get the new things they’re old things and there’s more new things!! ? Crafters dilemma! ?
Cathy Zielske says
Totally a crafter’s dilemma. Every time i watch a clip by either Jennifer or Kristina Werner, I’m putting more things in my cart!
