It’s a big day in CZ Design Land. Today is my first big release of new products over at Simon Says Stamp! To celebrate, I made a card completely inspired by Kristina Werner. If Jennifer is my Yoda, Kristina is my Qui-Gon Jinn. Seriously, if you watch any of her videos, you find yourself magnetically drawn to adding SEVERAL items to your shopping cart. She makes me want to try things, that is all. After watching this video by Kristina, I went digging through my supplies to see if I had things that were close enough to make my own version.
I recorded a short video to show how I mad today’s card. I have never used masking paper before and I feel—yet again—like I just discovered a bit of magic I never knew about in this whole card making genre.
I hope you noticed that I made a mistake and just kept going! I am guilty with shooting for perfection in my crafting much of the time, but this card making experience reminded me that there is room for errors and the results can still be just as lovely!
All supplies are listed at the bottom of this post!
This set is part of a big release that is available NOW over at Simon Says Stamp!
I have a video overview of all the new releases.
ONE IMPORTANT NOTE: I have release matching wafer thin dies for my Archie and Everett Alpha and Number Sets. If you purchased these stamps from me BEFORE I joined up with Simon, the dies will not work with those older sets. I do apologize for this, but Simon uses different production specs on their stamps than my previous manufacturer and I had to reduce the size of the alphas by about 4 percent. I just want to make sure no one buys the new dies thinking they will work with the original Archie or Everett sets. Again, please accept my apology. Making the transition out of self production has some learning curves for the back end production.
