In my effort to become a better Copic marker colorer, I decided to print out some test images to print and whaddya know? I came up with this super simple sentiment panel that you can download, print and color in, too! Then you can give it to someone in your life who either a) appreciates marginally lame puns, or b) loves you no matter how goofy you may be. I’m going to use both reasons a and b when I give this card to Dan in my effort to remind him that he isn’t getting rid of me any time soon.
Let’s say you have never made a card in your life. This is an easy one to start with.
I printed the PDF artwork onto white cardstock. I colored in the leaves with my markers. I die cut the panel and glued some Fun Foam on the back for dimension. I made a 5.5 x 4.25 inch card base out of heavier white cardstock. I die cut a 5.5 x 4.25 panel of adorable patterned paper. I glued that onto the card base, then added the “leaf you” panel to the final card. Oh, and I colored over the leaves with a Wink of Stella pen for a little shimmer.
And that’s it. (All supplies linked below).
If you wanted to get fancy, you could print and fussy cut your leaves and do other things with them. But only if you wanted to get fancy.
First, git ye the download:
Next, make the card and then tag me on social media with @czdesign or @cathyzielske so I can see what you did!
And I will know that you, too, just might be a little pun-ny.
