I got pretty organized this fall by ordering my holiday cards early. I think having a cast on made me panic, and I had to do things that were quick and easy! Enter holiday cards from Artifact Uprising.
Anyone who’s read my blog for a while knows what a fan I am of the products offered by this design forward company, and I was really excited to use one of the outtake images from Cole’s senior photo session to use for our holiday card this year. True, this is the first year in a long time that doesn’t feature a photo of my entire family, but people are coming and going like crazy and I knew it was going to be a little tricky to coordinate so I went with this wonderful photo of my children.
The card design I chose has this fantastic foil inlay, and it is minimal perfection. You can also choose gold or silver foil.
Special offer: Artifact Uprising has created a special code just for my blog readers to save 20% off your purchase of holiday cards. Just use the code CZD20 at checkout to save! This code is valid through Wednesday, November 29th.

As much as I love making handmade cards when it comes to Christmas I like to keep it pretty simple and go with something that I get printed. Thanks to Artifact Uprising for making my life both easier and beautifully designed.
For now, take advantage of this sweet discount while it lasts and check out the gorgeous designs today.
And while I’m in the holiday card spirit…
I’m also excited to apply my new heat embossing skills to the matching envelopes that come with the cards. I have this wonderful copper powder from Hero Arts along with my Coolest Yulest stamps. I’ve got my Misti precision stamping tool all set up with the tree stamp, and I am hand stamping my address, which has been Photoshop out of the picture. I love the copper shimmer this adds to my envelopes and it will match my cards beautifully. Now all I need is some copper washi tape and I’ll be good to go!
Note: I adore my return address stamp. I purchased it from Paperwink a number of years ago. If you’re in the market be sure to check out their selections. The quality is fantastic.
