Last week I shared a blog post with photos from my December daily album and over the weekend I filmed a video flip through to show you a bit more of where I’m at so far in the process!
One of my goals is to make this work for me and my style which usually means keeping it pretty simple. I am using as much of Ali’s kit as I can this year and so far the results are making me really happy. Without further ado here is a quick video of days five through 17.
Here is a free download for your printing pleasure. I printed mine out on my laser printer and added foil to it using my Minc! There are two sizes to choose from!

Cathy I love your album so simple yet so not simple. Do you have a tutorial that shows how to do the text boxes like the ones in your photos? I just love the look of them.
Cathy Zielske says
Hey Sherry, you know I don’t think I do so I am going to make one and posted to YouTube! It’s a very quick and easy process so stay tuned!

Love this – clean and simple! I lifted your see through text box for my DD. I never would have thought of it.

Your album is a living breathing example of the two things Ali always tells us about this project: (1) don’t make it harder than it needs to be, and (2) the album is about the whole, not any one page/spread.
When you see all these pages together, there’s a simple harmony and lovely story emerging of day-to-day life and moments of togetherness. None of us are living in a a hallmark movie, but that doesn’t mean the story of our lives aren’t beautiful.
(And yowch! That hand still looks quite painful.)

It’s on my list to do!
