Hello friends! It’s new release day at Simon Says Stamp (and it’s also my birthday!) and I’m super geeked to have products in the brand new Best Days release! I’ve got a new die set (You Da Best), as well as a new stamp set (Emphatic) and I’m using these products plus a brand new stencil from Simon Says Stamp to create a simple but kind of cool card to celebrate anyone who is, well, da best.
Here’s the thing with me and stencils: they scare me. But I recently was watching a video by my friend Gina K. from Gina K. Designs where she used a stencil to emboss on cardstock and I was all, “What? You can do that???” Apparently you can and the results are so cool. Subtle. But cool.
