Simon Says Stamp Good Vibes Release Blog Hop (Card Share + Video)

Hello crafty friends! I hope you are having a good vibes kind of day because it’s blog hop time for the brand new Good Vibes release from Simon Says Stamp! If you’ve just arrived here from the amazing Kristina Werner’s blog, I welcome you warmly and with, what else? GOOD vibes!

Today I’m sharing a card that features two cool new die sets: the Simon Says Stamp Hibiscus Flower Frame and a classic new alpha die set from me, CZ Design, called Everett Solid Letters. (Note: these new dies are on reserve and will ship on July 15. More details on the product description in the Simon store.)

Everett Solid Letters are a classic sans serif, lower case die set, perfect for card making sentiments or scrapbook page titles. And, I designed a matching numbers set, too. (Also coming to the shop on July 15, but you can reserve it today!)

The Hibiscus Flower Frame is just too cool for school, definitely giving off that Good Vibes feeling!

I decided to make a clean and simple card with just a pop of color to really support the gorgeous floral frame and then just added a super simple ‘hi’ as my sentiment by cutting Everett Solid Letters and stacking them.

Check out my video to see how I created this simple, graphic card!

THE GOOD VIBES BLOG HOP DETAILS: Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon at every single stop on the hop! Those are some GOOD vibes, am I right? Winners will be chosen over the weekend and posted on the Simon blog next Wednesday. Simple leave a comment on my blog today and you’re entered for a chance to win. Simple as that! Now, here is the list of stops in today’s hop!

you keep saying you are bad at blending. that looks GOOD to me. However, you and Laura on the same soundtrack…well that would be an event and a half. Make it so.

you are very ept. but when you are inept, a bit, it gives me confidence. cos *some* people are never inept in videos and it sets the bar too high for the mess I am actually capable of. (yes, also lack of practice, but I have *reasons*).

Love the card; your alpha is great. I never thought to use my misti to help line up the card and the panel to keep everything straight…it is those simple things that we don’t think about. Thank you for the great inspiration.

Like the card, love the letters but wow the takeaway for this chronic mis-aligner is to tuck one in the corner of the Misti and then layer on it to get things straight. Can not wait to try it!

Love your card — so much colour and dimension but simple too! And thanks for your tip on using the corner of the Misti to line up your card layers — a definite “ah-ha” moment.
