Today we are kicking off a big online party to celebrate Simon Says Stamp’s STAMPtember® month of exclusive products, ideas and inspiration!
My card project for today features the brand new Birthday Numbers stamp set and coordinating dies and this 6 x 8 set is just so all purpose because: numbers. Whether you’re celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, dates—big numbers work for cards and scrapbook pages! I decided to bust out my new watercolors and create some rainbow effects. My goal is to keep playing with the watercolors and to push myself into new mediums, ones that I may not be super comfortable using, but I’m going to have fun trying!
Here is a video that shows you how I created this card project, including a tip on how to make matching square envelopes.
Now for the fun STAMPtember Kick-off Party details…
I have a special code that will get you some cute crafty Shaker Stickers for free if you use the code in the image above. But here’s the cool thing: there are all sorts of different promotions today online and all of the card makers who are participating in this online party have different banners with different promotions! Think of it as a scavenger hunt for awesome freebies! To see links to all the people making cards for this party, visit the Simon Says Stamp blog!

ha! my/your trimmer arrived today. you can stop trying to hypnotise me into buying one. Think it was lurking at the back of storeroom behind something, cos it was a bit grubby, hence finding old stock of a discontinued thing. but it cleaned up fine, and it cuts great. from my brief go at it. no spoons just now.
Planning ahead is great. totally. til you can’t remember where you put it. or forget you even had it and end up with two. not that I have ever done that.
nice watercolouring.

super cute card and I love that you can just cut down an envelope to make it square. Good advance warning on the extra cost if mailed. All in all a very informative coda.
