Happy October! Today I’m excited to announce the launch of a brand new mini e-course called 30 Days of Thankful 2018. This bite-sized online class is designed to help you plan and prepare to create a mini album (or printed digital book!) of gratitude during the month of November (or really, any month!). Watch the trailer here:
30 Days of Thankful 2018 is packed with inspiration, plus all the digital/printable files you need to create your own gratitude mini album. With over 2 hours of video inspiration, including a walk through of all of the projects I’ve created since 2012, plus a digital package with a value actually exceeds the price of the class, this e-course is designed to get you in and inspired so you can set yourself up to document your gratitude in a way that works for you. The price of this mini workshop is just $14!
And if you’ve taken either of the two 30 Days workshops in the past, you can register for just $9.99! Just click on the image below to tell me, “Hey! I’m an alumni of past workshops!” and I’ll get you a special discount link! (Note: you must have taken either the full 30 Days of Thankful e course in 2015 or the mini course from 2016 to qualify for the discount! I have sent an email out to former students. You may not have received it, so please, email me today!)
This is a new course for 2018 with the same message: the story behind how this project started for me, and how it can truly be a project that grounds and centers you as you head into the holiday season. Please read the class description for all the details today! (And yes, Canada, your 31 days is covered in the workshop, too! You will find “31 Days of Thankful” digital materials in the course materials.)
While there are no required supplies to take my class other than a good supply of white cardstock, this year, to coincide with this course launch, I designed a few new stamps and dies all designed around a theme of gratitude. I purposely kept them a bit more universal, so they can be used for many scrapbooking or card making projects, but of course, there are elements that are specifically designed for this project!
First up: the 30 Days of Thankful 2018 stamps: (click on images to see over at Simon Says Stamp!)
This is my first 6 x 8 stamp set, full of sentiments, titles, images to color, a banner stamp designed for creating your own “Today I’m thankful for” embellishments, and more. The long line stamp is designed to use for stamping the leaves and what not to create a charming banner of images. And if you like to cut things out, this set comes with coordinating dies, too.
I’m using this set for my 30 Days album this year, which will be a hybrid mini album, combining some computer elements, along with stamping, die cutting, embossing and coloring.
Of course, you do not need to use what I am using! That should go without saying, but if you like the look of these products, I do believe they will sell out quickly. Please note: they will be restocked! This is not like a STAMPtember exclusive where once it’s gone, it’s gone! But while stamps can be restocked more quickly, metal dies take much longer. And speaking of more new releases: two more word and shadow dies!
Thankful 1 and Thankful 2 are also new releases today! These dies measure about 3 inches in width, perfect for mini albums, thank you cards, or this annual gratitude project!
I also have the new Thanks word and shadow die set, which is a more generic greeting, for thank you cards, but could also be used for this project as well!
One other set that I am using for this project are my Archie Solid Numbers. This font matches the font in the stamp set.
This is an older die set and again, quantities on this one may be limited, but any letter sticker, stamp or number die set can work for a project like this.
With that, I invite you to join me for my mini workshop! I’ll be creating my album in November, and sharing in the 30 Days of Thankful Facebook group (anyone can join! you don’t have to be a student!), as well as here on my blog! Click on the image below to sign up today!
Registration for 30 Days of Thankful 2018 will close on November 5, 2018 at midnight C.S.T.

woo hoo!!! I am signed up! I am looking forward to it.
Cathy Zielske says
Thank you so much, Carla! Happy to have you! This is indeed my favorite little project of the year. Can’t wait to start and hopefully, I will not have a broken hand this November (like last year!)

I’m already crazy over what I’ve just seen! I love your hybrid mini book and can’t wait to get started making this! Thanks for the new inspiration and a wonderful way to welcome Fall by documenting how blessed we are. Yeah!
Cathy Zielske says
Thanks, Carol! This project is a perennial favorite for me. Simple. Grounding. I love it. So last spring, I started designing some ideas around stamps and dies that I could incorporate. I am really excited to have a crafty approach to my album this year!
Susan K says
Love this class and love the stamps/dies for Simon Says Stamp. But, ooo, the prices are very high and way out of my range! I will just get along with my stash and the digitals from the class. Thanks for doing this every year! xxx
Cathy Zielske says
Totally understand! I have a craft budget myself, though mine is part of my business!
We manufacture every product here in the Unites States, rather than outsource to other countries. : ) It keeps jobs in the US and in our economy, which I’m really proud of.
You most definitely do NOT have to use my products to create this album and participate in my workshop.
Barbara Rokke says
I’m in – this year, I’m going to set aside time every week to complete it!!
Cathy Zielske says
Sounds great! And yes, you can do it in weekend increments, too!
Michelle Tercha says

Just an FYI, I found this page through facebook, but when I later just called up your blog this page was nowhere to be found. At any rate, I have done this project on my own before and love it. I’ll be signing up for the class soon. Excited to see what new inspiration you share. Thanks
Cathy Zielske says
I’ll look into why that happened!
CarrieH says
Hi again-So, this morning the only way I could access your “present participle” post was by going to cathyzielske.com/2018. When going to the blog, only the posts before this one show up. Ahh, technology and computer glitches. PS Loved the PP post!
CarrieH says
Cathy–Problem fixed now. Must have been a glitch of some sort
Shawn Wenrich says
Im definitely enrolling and I have all of the stamps & dies added to my cart! I don’t know if I’ll have the time to complete it this year but I’m going to do my very best!
Beth Flythe says
Hi Cathy! I just ordered the stamp set and I am wondering if you have tried using any of the small decorative stamps with the the wreath builder? I think I am going to give it a try when I receive it!
Cathy Zielske says
Oh. My. HECK!!!! NO! And what a GREAT IDEA!!! Especially because my album size is 4 inches square, and the wreath builder would work PERFECTLY with it for a fun title page idea!
THANK YOU!
