I recently purchased a gorgeous stamp set from Gina K Designs called Something Good, and the coolest stamp is this giant wood slice image. I thought it would pair well with some of my new releases, and it turns out it DOES!
I learned how to create an embossed die cut from watching the master, Jennifer McGuire, and figured I’d give it a try. It’s like making your own embellishments! It worked so well with my Thankful 2 word die. But I am pretty proud of myself for inventing a disposable embossing tray. (Watch the video to see what I’m talking about!)
I also think that wood slice stamp would be great for Christmas projects, as well! I am looking forward to playing around with it a bit more, plus all those florals in the set are fantastic! To see more cool ideas with this set, check out Lisa Hetrick’s YouTube channel today! Lisa is an amazing watercolor artist and online instructor and has so many creative ways to use the set!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
