The season of gifting is upon us and one of my favorite things to do is to create my own tags to festoon my packages. (Yes, I did just use the word festoon because it’s just not being used enough.)
I love putting a pretty tag on a simple package wrapped up in kraft paper, tied up with twine. It’s a minimal way to tie up some love that you are giving to someone for the holidays. And, the idea works well for a simple card project, too!
I have a short tutorial today showing you how easy it can be to pick one color and build a simple tag with a bit of die cutting and very simple ink blending.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I’m hoping to do a few more holiday tags in the coming weeks, so check back.

It may be “super simple”, but I think it looks Super Classy. The key lime color is a perfect alternative to traditional Christmas green. Both the tag and card look wonderful.

Woot woot! *So* awesome! I loved your design so much, I had to make a few tags just like it, in a couple different colors: https://ninasays.wordpress.com/2019/02/24/christmas-tags-cards/
