Welcome to DieCember® at Simon Says Stamp! (Yes, this is my first official DieCember participation and yes, I’m happy to join in the die cutting fun!)

Cardmaking at cathyzielske.com

Today we’re celebrating with a blog hop featuring some of the newest die releases from Simon Says Stamp. I created a simple card featuring the brand new Sweet Tulip die and one of the banners from the Nested Banners Set. I decided to create a sympathy/support card, and take a wee break from all of the holiday cardmaking of late.

Check out my video to see how I created this simple card project:

simple and effective. your specialty. I like the watercolour backgrounds. nope, not managed to do any yet. stuff keeps getting in the way, if I have spoons I have to do some work – which is sewing, not papercrafts. but I still like it, everytime you do one of these!

Hi Cathy. Just love your oh-so-pretty and delicate card. I keep forgetting to use my inks as watercolour, so thanks for the reminder. The delicate colours are just made to pop by using that gorgeous pink as your card base and for the sentiment. Am loving all the new dies for the release, but December isn’t a good month for that, LOL! Wishing you and yours a blessed Christmas. TFS. Love your work.
