Today I’m happy to announce another year of my year-long e-course Fit at CZ Classes! First things first, a quick trailer about Fit 2019:
Since 2011, I’ve been offering a version of this class which is really designed to help you connect (or if you’re like me, RE-connect) to your self-care goals. Through monthly inspirational messages (and people, I kept it real for you… there is no pretense that I have all the answers here!), useful tracking materials, monthly journal prompts and our supportive, nurturing Facebook community, you’ll work on showing up for yourself every day.
The fun part about all the materials I provide is that they can work in so many different formats such as:
• a 6 x 8 album, or any album with 3 x 4 or 6 x 4 pockets will work!
• a standard sized Traveler’s Notebook
• a bullet journal (you can test out different files at different sizes and make them work for you)
• your favorite planner system
It’s really up to you how to decide to use the materials. Everything is provided in multiple formats from simple PDFs that you just print onto paper and trim, to layered PSDs, which offer the fullest level of customization for your taste and style.
In 2018, the Traveler’s Notebook designs were a very popular way to track self care. Here is a look at what those files look like:
You will also receive monthly calendars (both Sunday start and Monday starts) in the Traveler’s Notebook size and the 6 x 8 size. Check out the my class supply list for more information.
Here are a few images of some of the printable cards (PDF, PSD, JPEG and PNG) that come in the digital package for the class:
There are an assortment of 3 x 4, 6 x 4, 3 x 8 (new this year!) and then the traditional 6 x 8 sizes. Not all cards come in every size but the designs are meant to be used as you see fit, no pun intended.
I have kept the designs very neutral and minimal to inspire you to play with the materials and jazz them up as you like!
SPECIAL INTRODUCTORY PRICE! From now through January 15, 2019, you can sign up for just $26 for 12 months. ($26 is for the entire year!) The new year is alway the time to re-connect to personal goals and I consider Fit 2019 just one simple step in committing to doing better for my own health and fitness.
I am inviting you to join me for the year.
I am going to be completely honest with you: my 2018 was really good professionally, but not so great in terms of my overall health and fitness. I had some pretty low moments in the fall, resigning myself to the inevitable decline in health and fitness. I think when you go through a time of big changes (both kids are now partially out of the house and I’m navigating the new empty nest territory), you can let certain things slide and for me, self-care always seems to be the first to go.
But then I realized it’s really just a basic switch in attitude, to embrace the responsibility fully and remember that this is on me. It’s not about vanity, friends. It’s about I want to be around for a good long while and with the best health I can achieve.
Fit connects me to myself and my goals. It ain’t just about a number on a scale because it’s a continuing process. The end game is life itself and having one that is as healthy as it can possibly be. It’s on me to do my part.
But this e-course does not demand perfection either. Only that you show up for you and do your best. On any given day of the year, that looks different for each of us.
I will show up each month with a new message for you that will be designed to keep you re-connecting to your goals and to remind you that no one is perfect, but showing up and caring is really the key to doing better with your health and fitness. And I promise to be honest with you about my own struggles and processes. Sometimes the messy imperfections are where we have an opportunity to learn the most.
I’d love to have you join me in 2019.

I did this class the first time around and loved it! Can’t wait to join you again. ?♥️
Cathy Zielske says
Oh yes! SO happy to have you come back. I’ve changed a few things up since 2016, but hopefully you’ll enjoy!
Terrie says
Is the fee $26 for each month or $26 for the entire year? Thanks
Cathy Zielske says
Terrie, it is $26 for the entire year! I should make that more clear!
Kate says
I just signed up! I’m looking forward to doing this, because who doesn’t need a tribe and a little motivation?!
Cathy Zielske says
Amen! And year in, year out—it’s been a really great tribe!
Lorie says
Wondering if this is something I could do in the Project Life app?
Cathy Zielske says
I would imagine, yes! You can import the JPEG or PNG card files! As long as you can add type in the PL app, you can use the cards.
Not sure how the tracker cards would work, but I’m guessing they could too!
Alexa says
So pleased you can offer this in the TN format, Cathy. It feels more manageable to me :). Off to sign up.
Cathy Zielske says
I really love the TN files. And they can be customized using Photoshop, too!
Alison says
I’m just curious to see some finished products — is there a gallery or some examples online? Looks great!!
Cathy Zielske says
Hey Allison, I have no finished samples per se, as this is a new class with new designs. The materials are shared privately in past years, as part of our community, as people share personal information.
Also, students are encouraged to use materials in a way that works for them! I will see about getting some form of preview other than the Traveler’s Notebook available.
I do offer a full money back guarantee on all classes if you feel you have not gotten what you paid for. 🙂
Cheryl says
Hi Cathy,
I took the previous FIT class and loved it! I’m back to do it again! Question: I use my Franklin Covey planner for my main planner. It is the classic size. Do you know what the downsize percentage is to fit your pdf files into a Franklin Covey classic planner would be?
Thanks so much for the class!
Cathy Zielske says
Hey Cheryl!
Offhand, I do not, as I do not have a Franklin Covey planner in hand, but… you can test it out in 10% increments! and see if you get what you need. Do you have a custom punch for the Franklin Covey? That would be really cool to incorporate!
KimberlyO says
I bet you could Google this for the exact percentage. Letter to classic FC. I need to do the same for my Happy Planner. 🙂 (And sign up!!!!)
Debbie says
Hello KimberlyO…Great idea sizing it to the Happy Planner. So can you share how you would do that?
Kathie says
Hi Cathy, I was wondering how I might buy this class for myself and as a gift. I would like to include my daughter on this journey with me. Can you recommend the process? Thank you!
Cathy Zielske says
Hey Kathie! Sent you an email!
Kathie says
Hi Again Cathy. Somehow your email went to my spam and then disappeared before I could read it. Can you resend to me? Sorry.
Cathy Zielske says
Yep! No worries. Just resent!
Kris Beauregard says
ACK! You know what’s so hard about this time of year? So many people offering such good content – and my wanting to take part in it ALL! How to decide??? So Love the minimalist design you’ve got going on!!
Cathy Zielske says
Well I appreciate that, that you like the design. I just wanted something more stripped down, but yet still functional and adaptable! 🙂
Brandi says
Hi Cathy – thank you for offering Fit again this year. Last year was an awful year with so many changes happening around me and my family, so it wasn’t a good year to join in the class of 2018. But this year I’m in and refocused on my health journey and happy to have a community of like minds. 🙂
Cathy Zielske says
So happy to have you , Brandi! And yes, life throws curve balls often, and so… we start anew!
Joyce says
Cathy – I just signed up. ? Thank you for offering such a class, I love the idea. I am in a similar time in my life: empty nest, working part time, have a good life – but struggle to keep motivated. I know I’m getting older, but I don’t want to get old. ? I’ve enjoyed the creativity and satisfaction card making has brought me the last couple years. And “meeting” gals like you has enhanced that! Having a support group has always made my life better. Here’s to being the best we can be in 2019. ? xxoo
Cathy Zielske says
So glad to have you! 🙂
Gina says
Do you have to be a computer wizard to do this class? It sounds right up my alley, but I’m not the best with the computer.
Cathy Zielske says
Absolutely not! You only have to be able to print out PDF files onto white paper or white cardstock and use a paper trimmer to cut them apart! 🙂
carlajinar says
I am looking forward to this….time to make a little more effort to focus on me just a bit
Tina says
If I’m working in an 8 1/2″ x 11″ size Happy Planner will there be files inn a size that work for me?
Cathy Zielske says
Hey Tina! The largest file size is 6 x 8, so unfortunately no. Sorry!
You could use the materials, paste them in, etc. but I do not offer that size per se!
Miriam says
Hi Cathy, I love this idea. I’m turning 50! this year – the kids are teenagers, I gave up work to stay home with them and now have no career, weight gain, menopause etc etc, this year is a really turning point for me, my self care, happiness and fitness. This course couldn’t have come st a better time for me. I’m in, I’m signing up today!!!! xxx ps – do you sing for us ?
Cathy Zielske says
Ha! I typically do not sing. But never say never!!!
Tina says
Can the printable be sized for use in an 8 1/2 x 11 planner?
Tina says
Sorry, I just saw the answer to my question… Thanks, Cathy.
Tina says
Just saw the answer- sorry for the duplication.
Cathy Zielske says
No worries! 🙂
Loly Borda says
Hi Cathy, I’d love to join, please tell me more about “Traveler’s Notebook”. Do I need to buy a special “container” for the printable pages?
Cathy Zielske says
Ideally, you would! There are SO many different kinds of Traveler’s Notebook binders. So many, I find it overwhelming! lol. Some people even just make their own. There is a supply list on the course description page, that links to the one I have. It’s a basic black leather one.
https://www.czclasses.com/fit-2019-product-supply-page/
But, there are really SO many kinds out there. I hate to say it, but do a Google search for Traveler’s Notebook (standard size) and you’ll see a ton of options!
Then what you do is print the PDF pages, back to back (two sided) to create your own inserts. If you are Photoshop Savvy, you can also customize a bit more, but it’s not requires to participate in class.
Personally, I am using some of the TN materials inside of my planner! I use a get to work book and I just clip the TN pages to my weekly spread, after I cut them in half! Hope this helps!
Michelle says
Hi Cathy,
I’m signing up for the 2019 class. Can you recommend a good white cardstock to print the journal cards on? Or should I use an office supply store to do it? I’m trying to remove some roadblocks I had the last time… Many thanks
Cathy Zielske says
Why yes I can! Check out the Class Supply list!

Look for the Neenah Solar White Classic Crest. That card stock has changed my crafty life. Seriously worth it! It’s very white and very smooth. I use it to print everything I do at home.
