Simon Says Stamp You Are Loved Blog Hop

January 11, 2019

Simon Says Stamp You Are Loved Blog Hop

It’s a happy day indeed around these parts because I’m excited to share a few of my new products from Simon Says Stamp with you today as part of the You Are Loved release blog hop! And today’s card includes something I tend to always have lying around: cardstock scraps!

My system for sorting scraps is super basic. Four shelves in my paper cabinet: one for ROY (reds, oranges, yellows), one for GBIV (greens, blues, indigos, violets), one for neutrals (blacks, grays, browns) and one for whites. Whatever can be saved is tucked into one of these shelves and my card today just features a handful of scraps to create a colorful die cut tag greeting.

Here is the video showing you how I created the card:

Thanks for watching. All card supplies are linked at the end of this post! Now onto the blog hop…

While supplies last you will receive a free gift, a Distress Oxide pad in the glorious Festive Berries color, while supplies last! This code will expire Sunday, 1/13 at 11:59 pm EST. Make sure to use the code in the image above at checkout!

The talented Suzy Plantamura has released a brand new set of her watercolor prints! These prints are 5.5 x 4.25 and are printed on Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor cardstock. They are perfect for painting with your watercolors!

BLOG HOP GIVEAWAY: Simon Says Stamp is giving away a $25 coupon to every stop on the hop from your blog comment section. They will choose winners over the weekend and post on the Simon Says Stamp store blog on Wednesday, the 16th of January.

Here is today’s list of card makers who are part of the hop!

Cute, cheery card. Using scraps is the best. I have some scraps that would be great for this because I have suddenly started hanging on to slivers of special cardstock from around die cuts. I wouldn’t even have to cut them.
