I’ve been seeing a lot of glimmer paste showing up on the old Instagram of late (this card caught my eye, and this one, too!) and thought I would give it a go and create a simple Valentine’s Day card for the hubs.
There is no rule that says you can’t give a man a shimmery card, at least not one that I know of. Plus, I call him babe a lot, so it’s all going to work out fine. This design is pretty clean and simple at its core and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I love a popped up white panel on a white card base!
I also created a simple little square envelope out of an A2 sized one, a little trick I learned from my friend, the one and only Gina K. Designs!
Here is the video showing you how I created this card project:

Like this glimmmer paste technique. Never thought to create a color by using inks in the background.

I love it!! It’s a little late to buy the glimmer paste for Valentine’s Day, but I’m definitely going to get some. And as always, your simple sweet style blows me away. Thanks, Cathy
