Crafty Notes with Gina K. Designs (painting and ink blending with dye inks!)

Cathy ZielskeCards, Free Downloads, Tutorials29 Comments

My sweet and talented from Gina from Gina K. Designs has a WONDERFUL new release out this week, including the cutest stamp set for crafty folks called, aptly, Crafty Notes!

How cute are all those little crafty images?

And you can also cut them out with coordinating dies.

Such a fun set with so many images to stamp, color and cut out, plus all of the fun sentiments!

I knew I wanted to dive in with that charming little paint palette and in today’s video I’ll show you how I used Gina’s wonderful ink cubes to both watercolor and ink blend on my project. I am all for getting as much use out of your supplies as possible! Here is the video showing you how I created today’s project. Note: it’s a bit longer than usual, but I wanted to keep the steps in to make creating your own version easier!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and be sure to check out all of Gina’s wonderful new releases!

I also wanted to give you a free A2 mat cutting guide, as seen in the video. Print it, trim it out, put it somewhere in your creative space.

Absolutely gorgeous card. I love your style Cathy. Thank you so much for your very generous download, I too struggle with mat sizing and getting them on straight (and cutting them straight!). Your tip with the Score Buddy is awesome.
Thank you so much for sharing, i enjoy your tutorials immensely, keep them coming!

I love this card! Rainbows are the wonderful but glittery rainbows are the best! Such imagination. I must have this set of stamps and dies.

Cathy! Thank you SO much for the mat guide! Every time I go to cut mats, I scramble for my scrap pieces from the last project where I attempted to jot down the mat sizes, and then I can’t find them…every, single project! This absolutely rocks, and so do you!! The card is great too. Glimmer paste is something I have avoided, until now, of course. You are my enabler, and I appreciate it!! 🙂

Valerie! That was me, too! I would measure the last one and finally just made a reference chart! Enjoy!
