A brand new release called Fresh Blooms is out today at Simon Says Stamp and I’m stoked to have a handful of new CZ Design stamps and dies as part of the release. I’ve got a bright and cheerful encouragement card project and video to share today, but first, here are the brand new CZ Design releases:
Please click on images for all new releases for more detail, especially for the die sizes, which appear larger here for illustration purposes!
You Got This is a set of encouraging sentiments and phrases to create cards for people in your life that might need a little boost. There is also a set of coordinating dies to cut out some of the sentiments, too.
Note: the coordinating die set for You Got This is listing out of stock. I’m not sure why, but I am hoping it’s a mistake! If not, I’m asking the set to be put on reserve, so if you’re interested, check back!
Next is my What Up Buttercup set (and yes, I wanted it to say “What Up” not “What’s up” because that’s how we say it around these parts):
This set also has a set of coordinating dies to cut out the blooms and the leaves:
I also created a stand-alone Buttercup Build a Bloom Die Set set (it does NOT cut out the flowers in the What Up Buttercup stamp set), designs to create your own custom blooms in two sizes, with small circle dies for the flower centers:
I also have a new word and shadow die set that I love, another thing we say all the time around here, Woot:
And last but not least, a tag die designed for encouragement, as well, You Got This:
Today’s card project features You Got This stamps and Coordinating Dies, as well as a brand new die called Triangle Element. So let’s jump into today’s card project!
A simple rainbow of Distress Inks, a clean, white die cut and a very simple but heartfelt sentiment are the ingredients for today’s project.
I love what happens with a bit of water and Distress Inks, and by following the rainbow, it’s hard to mess up!
Stacking die and glueing die cuts together adds dimension, as well as stamping the sentiment in Versafine and sprinkling some clear power over it for embossing. Here is the video showing you how I created today’s card project:
Thanks so much for stopping by and be sure to check out my new releases along with all the other fantastic products that are part of the Fresh Blooms release!

Hi Cathy,
I’m loving your new products in the Fresh Bloom release! I see they’ve got the “You Got This” coordinating dies on reserve now but they don’t have a date. Any idea when it’ll be available? Love your beautiful card!

Where did you get that orange stand that you put the bottle of multi-mat glue that is almost empty in your video?

I’m sorry but I thought the saying was “What’s up, Buttercup” not “What Up Buttercup.” I’ve never heard it shortened like you can “You’ve got this” to “You Got This”. I guess if I would buy the stamp, I could easily add in an apostrophe s. I have heard S’up Buttercup in which it is shortened even more. Sorry to be critical…maybe it’s the long snowy winter with another impending snow event that is getting to me. Generally, I love your slang but this one, not…. My walking buddy is a sweet pony named Buttercup so this saying always catches my eye as I love to collect them for my scrapping/cardmaking. Best to you..maybe you can explain this to me?

Such an excellent card. That sentiment “this too shall pass”. I tell myself that all the time. I really need this sentiment.
