What Up Buttercup (Emboss Resist + Distress Oxides)

Have you ever sat down to color in some stamped images and thought, “I don’t know about this… I really would rather do something a little easier?”

Well that is me, nearly all the time, when it comes to coloring only because I still don’t have a ton of confidence in that crafty area. But give me a little white embossing powder and some Distress Oxides and I think I can handle that one every time!

Today’s simple card does just that and it features my brand new Buttercup stamps and coordinating dies. (And yes, the sentiment says “what up” and not “what’s up” because that’s how we say in my family and well, you know, I designed the set!)

My hope is that this set can work for many occasions: simple greetings, get well soon and happy birthday!

Here is the video showing you how I created this card project:

Pretty card and pretty stamp set! I like the emboss resist technique because my coloring skills aren’t the best.
