Today I’m sharing a simple but colorful card project to send to anyone who needs a little encouragement. This card was designed (and sent) to my 85-year-old father who took a little tumble on his way to exercise (oh, the irony!), and is now kicking some ass in rehab as he regains use of his broken leg. (YOU GOT THIS, DAD!)
I chose a green to purple color scheme (the GBIV of the rainbow) to create a simple wash of color using Distress Inks. The texture on the white card panel was creating by using a stencil as an embossing tool, which is a really great way to get more from your stencils.
Here is the video showing you how I created this card project:
Thanks so much for watching and thank you for all the good wishes for my family as my Dad works through his recovery. The MacDonald family in Las Vegas appreciates your good wishes!
