Honey Bee Stamps 4th BeeDay Blog Hop

I’m excited to be part of a 4th Bee-Day Blog Hop for Honey Bee Stamps today. I love three things: 1) Cute products, 2) promoting and supporting small business, and 3): Bees! For me, it’s kind of a win-win-win scenario! If you’re arriving here from Vera’s blog, welcome to my online home!

There are a bevy of new releases from Honey Bee Stamps out today (including a brand new line of 6 x 6 papers!) and our blog hop is celebrating lots of creative card goodness. If you missed Day 1, click here. For today’s hop, keep reading!

For my card today, I used the lovely Radiant Stencil, along with some Nuvo Glimmer Paste to create a very subtle background for the bold green and black of my card project. The stencil is really cool (and there’s actually a die with the same pattern!)

The Cherish die set is also cool because you can layer them, but you can also use one of the dies to cut out the stamped version of “cherish” that is part of the Cherish clear stamp set. I decided to cut two ‘cherish’ works from black cardstock and glue them together for a little added texture.

Here is the video showing how I made the card:

Now here are the details for the blog hop!

Lime green , white and black = stunning color combo. I love the Cherish sentiment with three layers and especially the stitched layer. There’s a lot of great detail on this beautiful “simple” card.

Great card! I really like that the word dies are 3 layer, and I tried you tip on taping the inside of the card while working on it, but I forgot to remove it before mailing, ha!

Such a wonderful card. I love the Cherish die with the shadows and the green is such a wonderful color. Makes me think of spring and here in the upstate NY we could use some spring right now 🙂

I meant lime and black! Sometimes auto correct is not correct. I watched your video, and then a few more; and I really like the tape tip! It is faster than my fingers: which is what I was doing! Cheers!

I really love the sentiment stamp and die combo-it pops so much more than stamping it onto a rectangle or square
