It’s World Bee Day today and the aptly named Honey Bee Stamps is celebrating with a To Bee or Not to Bee blog hop. I made a card using some of their super cute products to celebrate! (See supply list at the bottom of this post!)
This card project features some of the brand new 6 x 6 paper line that Honey Bee Stamps has just recently released.
So much hive-based cuteness, right?
I also love the subtle texture the Radiant Background die added to the patterned paper background.
This card project features some VERY simple Copic coloring (see all the colors I used in the supply list below!) And I created a simple shaker out of the bee hive and filled it in with a few sequins from the new Lazy Daisy Sequin Mix!
Check out the Honey Bee blog for more details on the hop!

Your cards are all so great! Thaks for all the time you take to create the videos and list all of the supplies!
What size cards do you tend to make? I’m a newbie wanna-be card maker and I can’t wrap my head around best card size(s) and utilizing 12×12 and/or 8.5×11 papers in the best way. Thanks much!
Cathy Zielske says
Okay, pretty much EVERY card I make is 4.25 x 5.5, or 5.5 x 4.5.
You take an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper, cut it in half the long way at 4.25 inches. Then you have two pieces of 4.25 x 11 sheets. Score at 5.5 and fold. Just like that, you have a folded, standard US A2 card!
I never use 12 x 12 any more so… that’s what I know for cards, but I had NO idea about that when i started!

AWESOME creation! I love shakers! This is the BEE’S KNEES HOP! My husband & I host 60 to 80 bee hives on our 5 acre place for the summer (to get them out of the heat) for a bee keeper from California after they are through pollinating the orange and nut orchards.
