Welcome to blog hop day for Pinkfresh Studio and their Essentials Release for May 2019! I have a fun card project to share featuring the new Basic Label Frames dies and finished off with the fun new Jewel Mix set!

The Basic Label Frames are so all-purpose and are great for both cardmaking and scrapbooking, and this Jewel Mix gem set comes with all these colors, each in its own container, and all contained in a nifty little storage box.

My card project also featured the Through The Trees stamp set and I thought this would be perfect to give to my son upon his return from his freshman year in college. I know he’s planning some big camping trips and I want to encourage him to explore that road less taken this summer. But not to go TOO wild, of course.

I really love the combo of Distress Oxides on this project and the gems were a really nice finishing touch!

    Love that Forest stamp! My dad worked in the forest for 45 years, brought me a found memory of him coming home smelling like those big evergreens. Those jewels are just the bling it needed. I need to try that resist technique!

    I LOVE this card!!! That stamp is awesome and I love that you embossed it…I tend to forget that I have all the tools to emboss but I need to get them out since I love the effect so much! And the Jewel Mix is a must have!!!! I always enjoy watching your videos and learning your techniques!!! TFS
