Another month has come and gone and now prepares to be added to my year-end printed volume. April was really about three things: my parents, ultimate Frisbee and the Game of Thrones premiere. We have our priorities straight, people. Let’s get into it…
PHOTOS TAKEN: 370 (after the culling process of deleting shots I know I don’t need, and honestly, I don’t need to keep 370 but I went to an ultimate tournament, so… more will be deleted eventually!)
PHOTOS USED: 26
I always aim to represent the whole family on the first page of each month. This time, I got a real bonus by having a photo of my folks! Say hello to Murray and Shirley!
More shots of my parents, plus my niece, Brittany, plus my step-sibling, Honey Bee. You see, we have different parents, so…
My favorite thing in the world to photograph is ultimate. Sigh. Cole’s first collegiate season is over. Hopefully, there will be more to come!
And the final page.
It was really cool to be at my parents’ house and go through their old albums. It really doesn’t matter how you save photos and stories, just that you do in some form or fashion. I got as much joy looking through those albums as anything. Just a tangible record of my family’s history. It’s a good thing!
So that is April and now, let’s celebrate the biggest holiday of any scrapbooker’s year, International Scrapbook Day! I know it’s not until this weekend, but what the heck, let’s have a sale starting now!
Click on each image to read the complete course description!
Sale ends Monday, May 6, at 8 a.m. CDT.
