Peeking Daisy Die Cut Windows with Glimmer Paste Backgrounds

Today’s card project is making my simple-loving heart happy! Take a simple design and repeat it, and fill it in with part of a shimmery rainbow and it adds up to a simple card that packs a happy punch!

Take any small die to try this project! I love the Peeking Daisy die from Simon Says Stamp. It’s sweet and simple and perfect to repeat three times for a cohesive look. I changed the angle of each cut for a bit of visual interest.

I thought that cutting circles of color and then applying my Glimmer Paste was a good idea, as opposed to doing the ink blending and paste right onto the card base. Less warping, if you catch my drift! Here is the video showing how I created this card project:

I am loving this card idea! I have in mind a different stamp/die cut that will work perfectly with it. Now to get the idea from the brain to the fingers; that is a different story! So, you are book marked, tagged, and not deleted from my e-mail (anything to keep you available!) until I can go play with my toys.

Beautiful design. The simplicity of the single blossom against the three soft colors… just lovely. I have not played with glimmer paste… plan to add it to my next list of things to try…
