The star of my card today is the Wild Flowers 6 x 8 stamp set.

This set features two large images of wildflowers and I thought they would be perfect for silhouette stamping with a deep black ink!

I have a video showing you how I created this card and the video includes one little mistake I’m including to remind you of one cardinal rule: always let Versafine Onyx Black ink dry completely. You’ll see what I mean!

I usually stamp with Memento ink, but the times I’ve used VersaFine I’ve made the mistake of not remembering it has to dry & smudged. Making two card panels is a good idea.     Beautiful card!!! I also love to get very black stamped images…stamping once or twice doesn’t do it all the time! I am so very close to getting one/two of the misti’s based on all of your videos! I’m curious though…since cost is a bit of a factor…if we can only get one…would you go for the small or medium one? I think I’d like the ability to do slightly larger things with the medium one…but the small just seems so handy and easy to move around my work space. Thanks again for sharing your fabulous projects!!

    Very nice silhouette stamp. This is one of the products in the new release that caught my eye. I think that is a good idea to try out a card idea before filming. It allows one to be familiar with the process. But I have not made a card video in a long time. I am thinking about it, just need to put my heart into it.
