It’s new release day at Simon Says Stamp and I have a few clean and simple birthday card projects to share with you that make cardstock the key to coloring your images.
I have a brand new stamp set and coordinating dies called Birthday Sweets.
Birthday cards are the type of card I need the most and I wanted to create a very clean and simple stamp set to cover some good birthday bases.
But even though I love these little images in the set, I’m not the worlds greatest colorer. My solution? Simple cardstock cupcakes with white embossing, and a little tone-on-tone coloring with coordination Copic markers.
Here’s the video showing you how I created the cards:
Thanks so much for watching!
I have another new stamp set out today which you’ll see in a card project tomorrow on my blog:
I have been wanting to create a basic sentiment collection in this minimal style to serve as an all purpose stamp set! There will be coordinating dies coming soon, to cut out the large sentiments. They just weren’t quite back from the manufacturer!
I also have a set of Mom & Dad word and shadow dies:
Speaking of Mom & Dad, the coordinating dies for my Parental Props stamps are now available, both by themselves and as a bundle:
And here are the coordinating dies by themselves:
Last but not least, for when you’re in the mood to party, a word/shadow dies combo:
