Pinkfresh Studio Holiday Release 2019

Cathy ZielskeCards, Tutorials81 Comments

I’m happy to share a this card project today featuring one of the new holiday releases, Cozy Christmas Wishes, from Pinkfresh Studio!

I have two cards to share today. One features simple coloring with colored pencils; the other, Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers.

I did use different cardstock for each, and each has a different feel. I think I am leaning towards the one on the kraft, but the good news? Two Christmas cards are done! I think this stamp would also look really lovely embossed only in gold on any number of holiday cardstock colors!

Here is a video showing you how I created these card projects:

I liked the colored pencil one. I’ve been working hard with my colored pencils and have been getting great results. Both are great and am excited about this release.

You make it look soooo easy. I think I like the craft card better too. I think I will try the Zigs on craft when I get the stamp.

You have inspired me to be braver about using stamps and colouring them. I love both of these cards although I agree the craft one is warmer.

Hi Cath, love you, love your channel, and love these cards. Especially the one on kraft. Just seems a little more comfy to me, that’s all. Anyhoo…haven’t used colored pencils in a long time, but maybe I’ll give it a try. Have a great day. 🙂

I love the look of white on kraft paper! And thanks for showing that colored pencils can look great. (Copic markers are just too $ for me.)

Surprisingly, I never thought of using pencils on kraft paper with my stamps, but I love how this looks! Thanks for the inspiration!

I love the grey card best – it’s a combo that should be used more often!. Pinkfresh stamps are my faves

I always love seeing your cards, your coloring is perfection, love the idea of a stamp sentiment that fills the entire card front.

Tough choice but I’ll go with the Kraft, it works so well with colored pencils. Both cards are beautiful. For some reason, I didn’t realize it was one large stamp, now I like it even more!

Beautiful cards! I really enjoyed watching your video! Great idea using a wooden clothespin to hold the paper while heat embossing!

    Hi Cathy,
Love both of your cards and your video gave me a bit more confidence to break out both my Zigs and colored pencils to give them a try. As a new card maker, it can all seem so daunting but you explain everything so well and inspire me to want to give things a try! I really do adore both cards but if pressed I would have to go with the Kraft version because of its warmth but I do like the vibrancy of the Zigs. Decisions, decisions! Thank you for always sharing and inspiring us!

They’re both beautiful! But, my eye is usually attracted to kraft card stock- love the warmth and organic look. I’m definitely breaking out my colored pencils!

I just cranked out a stack of these on Gina K’s moonlit fog and I love them! I needed an easy one this year since I’m getting such a late start. Thanks!
