Today’s STAMPtember® exclusive stamp set is from Art Impressions, featuring a trio of the lovely ladies they are known for, and those ladies who, in fact, comprise my squad goals in life: stretchy pants, laughter and treats. And possibly reindeer antler headbands.
This card project is an example of how to take a more complex coloring image, but execute it in a very simple way by simply limiting your color choices. And the other fun thing? Fussy cutting. I had never fussy cut a thing in my life, not even in all of my scrapbooking years, but card making has shown me that you can pretty much cut out any image and you don’t have to be a master to make it look good!
I decided to go SUPER simple with pinks and warm grays and make a bold statement with my ink blended background. Here’s the video showing you how I created this project:
Thanks so much for stopping by! Remember: STAMPtember exclusives are only here until they’re gone! If you love these ladies, order them today! I will be sending this card over the holidays this year to my original bestie. She and I are fans of comfort.

This is great Cathy, the pink background really brings out the touch of pinks on the focal image. I really enjoy AI’s sets, they are fabulous!
