Today I’m sharing three fun holiday card designs featuring monochromatic color palettes and simple pattern stamping using the MISTI, along with new ink from Pinkfresh Studio.
I have long had a golden rule in design, whether it’s for scrapbook pages or card projects: when in doubt, go monochromatic!
The new ink collection from Pinkfresh Studio has been curated into 12 color groups, each one of the groups works beautiful with the other colors in the group.
Using one stamp set, I created three cards in red, blue and green schemes. Here is the video showing you how I made them:
Having a stamp positioner tool such as the MISTI is key to making these designs work. I will say that it was using the MISTI that really got me hooked on stamping and card making back in 2017. Before then, I never stamped because it always turned into a hot, inky mess. If I sound like a commercial for the MISTI, that is exactly what I am. It has changed my crafting life and I believe the inventor is a frickin’ genius!
These cards are very do-able, too! No difficult stamping techniques are required. Thanks so much for stopping by!
