My year-long scrapbooking project continues! Today I’m sharing my pages for August 2019. I found myself a tinybit behind on the monthly project, but honestly? The system is simple and it really only takes me about an hour or so to edit down the photos, make my selections and build the pages. There was a lot happening in August, with a trip to see my bestie Tara and then to see my folks and then out to the offices of Simon Says Stamp. Who am I? I never leave the house!

Here are the pages for August:
I always try to create a title page that touches on major events or highlights, plus I try to include all four family members. Sorry, Cole. You missed the cut this month. I’m thinking he’s going to be okay with that. (And yes, that is my family, all together in the lower shot. I have an older brother named Mike.)
I took SO many shots during my weekend with Tara and our ensuing road trip to see my family in Las Vegas. It was hard to edit them down, but I’m happy with what I chose!
I love the shot in the upper left. Tara snapped that of me as we were just arriving at my parents’ house in Henderson. Oh yeah, and they have Cafe Rio in Vegas. Be. Still. My. Heart.
The photo of my offspring is actually a re-creation of an older shot and I love that they suggested it before Cole got his hair cut.
The rest of the month was my visit to Simon Says Stamp HQ, which is always a treat, and that wrapped up the month!
